Krugman and Asimov
I saw this mentioned on another forum did anyone else see this interview?

Apparently on Monday night's NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, Paul Krugman revealed why he became an economist. He said that when he read Asimov's Foundation books, he latched onto the idea of becoming one of those social scientists who save the world. The closest field, it turned out, was economics.

1. I didn't catch that, but it's pretty amazing
Krugman is awesome and is 100% correct more often than any other commentator I can think of (Robert Reich is running at about 95% IMO).

Congratulations to Krugman for his well-deserved reward, which Freepers have already dismissed as a mechanism of Leftwing propaganda...
