1. Unfortunately, I would have to agree.
Cool effects, nice basic idea, but a lame story and a disappointing villain.

I'll still take it over nothing, but they can do better than that. Much better.

The author of the trash really robs people of the Christmas spirit. The plot is empty tripe (the plot holes are nothing compared to what I'm about to say), all the good guys die and the bastards win, and the fat jokes were deplorable.

Something was once said about the writer's religious proclivities, but out of an ironic sense of respect, I won't mention them here. (Respect for whom being the issue; it's not for the writer I'm keeping my trap shut...)

3. With the exception of the Runaway Bride, the Who Christmas specials suck
Though the Runaway Bride was far from perfect.

80% of RTD Who scripts really suck, and tend to be the weakest episodes of any season. Please please please let Steven Moffat write more episodes. "Blink" is one of the greatest Who episodes ever.
