I now truly think I've seen it all. And I really think the Black Eye Peas should sue.

2. Looks like a Poe...
I went to the link from the video. The two annoying brats are here, on the "Praise Bop" page

But this CAN'T be for real...can it? Looks sort of like a Landover, only lamer. (Yes, I get paid extra for alliteration...)

God Blog: We Be Trippin... For J.C.!
November 15, 2010 6:08 PM

This is Corey and Jennifer from 'Tween Jesus 'n Me!

We are really upset right now about some of the most popular songs being played on the radio. They do NOT make us want to LOL.

We don't know what country this Katy Perry person is from, but if she thinks she can corrupt the minds of today's American kids, she's sadly mistaken. Apparently, she had a few alcohol drinks, got all confused, "kissed a girl" and she "liked" it.

See Miss Perry, this is what happens when you drink Satan's bad girl juice. Girl on girl action is just plain wrong (see The Gospel Of Matthew). Something cannot feel wrong and right AT THE SAME TIME. "Ain't no big deal, it's innocent"?

Think again, missy. The only thing innocent is our love for the Lord and Savior. It's Jesus' cherry chapstick you should be tasting.

We'd also like to call out someone named "Lil' Wayne".

How DARE he mention "the Almighty Power", then two lines later use the MF word! He then proceeds to use the "sh" word, the "bs" word, the "f" word for homos, the "b" word (not a female dog), and Dennis Rodman. He refers to white people as "crackers", mentions "coke" and talks about "loose bowels".

Then after all this blasphemy, he has the nerve to say "And the Bible told us every girl was sour"!! Well, we don't know what bridge he's "pussy poppin" on, but we'll be damned if we're gonna be "ill" like "L'll".

We're gonna call our local Wisconsin radio station RIGHT now and demand they pull these songs from their playlist!

With Deep and Abiding Reverence and Abstinence,

Corey and Jennifer

6. Satire is getting more and more difficult, isn't it?
No matter how far over the top the satire goes, some Jesus freak will outdo it within a week.

7. I believe The Friendly Atheist and I were duped. However... it is hard to tell sometimes.
The satire of the crazy and the actual crazy are sometime indistinguishable.

Poe's Law

"It is impossible to tell for certain the difference between genuine stupidity and a parody of stupidity." — The General Case of Poe's Law

The core idea of Poe's law is that a parody of something extreme can be mistaken for the real thing, and if a real thing sounds extreme enough, it can be mistaken for a parody, (all because parodies are intrinsically extreme, in case you haven't noticed it).

This can also happen to someone whose picture of the opposing position is such a grotesque caricature that it renders them unable to tell parody from reality. Reality and parody are further blended by the fact that something that started as a parody might turn into a Windmill Political that some people take as gospel and go to a very serious (if not literal) war.

According to the trope namer, Rational Wiki, Poe's Law was formulated by Nathan Poe, referring to the Flame Wars on Christian forums where Creationism vs. Evolution was discussed: Many users posted parody comments, which were followed by both angry replies and supportive ones.

While Poe's Law referred originally to religious fundamentalism, it can also apply to any debate where controversy runs high and at least one position is particularly extreme, such as the infamous North Korean Twitter feed that got mistaken for the real thing.
