Besides a wedding ring or other heirloom piece (unless it is religious)? I'd like to hear about it. And I won't think anyone is snotty or excessive for describing something of great value. Anyway, what does the item mean to you?

I'm looking forward to reading your answers.

1. Yes
I have a ceramic pendant of Epona. My fiance bought it for me when we were on vacation. It means even more to me because he found it and bought it as a surprise.

I wear it every day, it has replaced my regular necklace.

2. I have a little silver owl that my father got for me...
... as Athena is my patron goddess.

I have it on a simple ribbon with some glass African Trade Beads.

3. I have several pieces on a necklace that I wear every day
A silver sea turtle to represent my stepdaughter, a silver mother holding a child to represent me and my daughter, a silver pentagram, a silver priestess figure standing on a crescent moon representing a priestess standing between the worlds, a silver cauldron which was given to me by my teachers to acknowledge the fact that I was an ordained high priestess in the Nomadic Chantry of the Grammarye, a 501(c)(3) pagan religious organization incorporated in the state of Maryland (now, sadly, defunct following the death a year and a half ago of Rosemary Kooiman, the founding elder), a small gold greyhound to represent my dogs (greys and whippets) and also one of my totem animals, a small gold dolphin because dolphin is another one of my totems and a silver broom - just because. I used to also wear a small silver emblem that represented a wish for a child. I had gotten it at the Nepal booth at a Smithsonian Folk Life Festival about 6 years ago, just as my husband and I started the paperwork to adopt a child from China. I was told that it was a charm for a child. I empowered it during a full moon circle and wore it constantly. We brought our daughter home from China just under 4 years ago. I continued to wear the charm for a while but got the message that it was time to retire it, so with thanks to Kwan Yin, I took it off my necklace and keep it in a small silk lined box on my dressing table (aka altar).

4. Just one.
I usually don't wear any jewelry at all, but I do have a silver pentagram ring that I love, and I wear that when I go out. I don't wear it at home and never miss it then, but I feel "naked" if I go out without it.

5. I don't have a religion.
I follow a shaman path. But my pieces do have spiritual aspects for me.
I usually only wear my grandmother's thin wedding band, but not on my left hand and not my ring finger.
I sometimes wear the pink pearl bracelet my son brought me from the ME when he was on tour of duty there.
And I have a gold necklace with two dolphins, which was also a gift, a symbol of my desire to swim with them.

7. I have a pewter scimitar necklace that I wear daily
It has a great deal of meaning for me, even though it was a "cheap" find at a local Ren faire. It's sacred to one of my patron goddesses, and symbolizes my path as a Sword Dancer in her service.

It's also representative of my people. I'm a Walk-in.

8. A couple of rings
as I like to switch necklaces and bracelets too often, but I have lots of fingers! :P

I wear a Celtic knot ring I bought in Glastonbury on my left forefinger, a citrine ring on my right ring finger that signifies my element (air), and a special ring denoting my membership in a special inner group of my coven on my right middle finger.

9. I have four that I wear
I have a silver septagram that I wear under my shirt and close to my heart because of its personal meaning to me, a silver hawk ring on my left middle finger shaped like a hawk which is a nod to both my totem and to Freyja, as Hawks are one of Her messengers, a silver ring set with a garnet and blue enamel on my left that I consider something of a tool in workings, and a silver pendant I got at a Heathen festival inscribed with numerous triple knots and in the middle is the Triplehorn of Odhin which how it is rendered looks a lot like the Triskelion.
