Somewhat different strategy
I am going to try to daily (as time permits) look at places like the Huffington Post, Slate, Salon, Politico and any others I think might be appropriate, see if they have any kind of article/column/blog that relates to the mess the Dems. are currently in, and then post a brief message about how Gore could (might have to) be a unifying candidate to save the Dems. from themselves. I would invite others to think about doing the same (again, as time permits). Once posted, it will be interesting to see what, if any replies there might be. I just posted a brief note today at Slate, under their section called "The Fray."

Actually, the other reason for posting this note is so Andrea will have to kick the other note once again. Go Andrea.

1. Great idea, Rod!
I think we should all try to do this - like you said as time permits. Then we can post here where we posted so that others can respond and kick those posts.

2. Check out DFA
I just posted a blog over there, using the Jack Cafferty question from yesterday as the springboard. Check it out and comment if you feel like it. http://www.blogforamerica.com/view/24481

3. It's getting hard to keep up.
I just posted the same thing in Gd:primaries (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x5264129) and found another thread saying MSNBC was talking about it this morning. Here's that thread: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x5264041. I think all of this was triggered by that FL super delegate (Rep. Mahoney) being quoted in the Tampa paper yesterday. So, it is slowly making its way toward the MSM. Yahoo!

4. I thought I had posted this before:
the link to the Slate comment (because it's almost impossible to find, otherwise). But, it doesn't seem to be here already, so I'll try again: http://fray.slate.com/discuss/forums/thread/1031129.aspx. There has been only one comment (negative) so I'm not sure it generated much thought after all.
