(poll)

The current budget battle in Congress is an indication...

...that the Democrats truly don't have the troops best interest at heart.
63%
...that the Republicans have forced the Democrats to use extreme measures to carry out the will of the people.
9%
...that the Republicans are willing to go to the mat for the military.
11%
...that the Republicans are willing to break the bank in order to continue to fund a failed policy.
18%

2. Why would someone in the active military even bother to go to
military.com? I would think that most of them are too busy. Either they're serving in Iraq or they're on leave from serving in Iraq. In either case they aren't spending their free time on the internet at military web sites.

5. I get the feeling from reading these rags & the discussion forums

that around 50~60% of the military is against the continued adventure in Iraq. There's been lots of articles about PTSD, TBI, family programs to reduce stress, multiple deployments, and VA health coverage which means they understand the depth of the problem.

that the big guys like Fallon and Gates throw in an occasional we need to be cautious rather that we need to nuke them.

Dems do this, Dems don't do this. . . Many of the posted articles (from the AP) still tend to blame Dems for the problems.

Fair and balanced? No, but it's better than it used to be.

on edit to add: The poll was probably freeped by knuckle-draggers and the DoD department of spin.
