Bush supporters spit on veterans
Edited on Sun Mar-25-07 05:23 PM by The Wizard
At last week's peace rally in DC. Some self proclaimed "veterans" supporting Bush took it upon themselves to spit on and verbally abuse fellow veterans. It should be clear that these cretins have problems with their manhood or suffer from arrested development..
I also heard from a source that was there that some were using canes as golf clubs and hitting horse shit at the demonstrators. Maybe they didn't really need the canes. They were sticking the handles in fresh horse shit left by the mounted Park Police.

1. I wish that some of these "veterans for Bush"
Would prove their manhood in Baghdad or Anbar Province. Impress me, show me how to defeat islamofascism.

4. Not sure what you mean, "rolling thunder" was part of the the so called
"gathering of eagles". http://gatheringofeagles.org/ They are a pro war bunch of rear echelon bike riding kids with training wheels, that think we should have won the Vietnam war even if we had to kill everyone. Bunch of losers.

5. Rolling Blunder
is a prominent supporter of GOE. Me thinks Ted Sampley has a hand in this. This thing originated in the same zip code where Sampley claims residence and he's essentially a T shirt hustler making a quick buck selling shirts and now arm bands to those willing to fall for the bullshit. There's an obvious effort on someone's part to sell paraphernalia Click on the link for Gathering of Eagles and read their blog. The blog is proof of some kind of fantasy land, right wing fairy tale.
These folks display some strange thinking.
Rolling Blunder is just a gang of bikers who get some kind of vicarious thrill by relating to real war heroes. They think that riding their bikes en masse will scare any communists that followed us home from Vietnam. Most of them couldn't get laid in a whore house with a pocket full of hundreds.
Not to worry. They like to ride at high speed on two wheels, drink and play with guns.

Syracuse woman explains why she spit at soldier

A Syracuse woman accused of spitting in the face of a Fort Drum soldier at Hancock Airport pleaded guilty today, offering an apology and an explanation.

Lauren Maggi had been verbally abused on the phone by a male acquaintance who is in the military at Fort Drum, and she "displaced her anger" when she encountered the victim as she walked through the airport, defense lawyer Louis Mannara said.

"I was crushed that people saw this as an anti-uniform, anti-war gesture," Maggi said. Maggi said she is a registered Republican who twice voted for President George W. Bush and supports the administration's war effort and the soldiers who are carrying out that mission.

Maggi, 35, pleaded guilty to second-degree harassment in connection with Nov. 22 incident.

Authorities said Maggi had walked up to Jason Jones, 21, near the United Airlines ticket counter, asked him if he was a Fort Drum soldier and then spat in his face when he said that he was.

6. Impossible. It's been 'proven' that this never happens.
Edited on Wed Mar-28-07 08:49 AM by TahitiNut
It's an urban myth. In 20 years, it'll be 'proven' that these aren't veterans and they're lying.

Yep. That's what I've 'learned' on the oh-so-civil and supportive DU. :puke:
Hey TahitiNut,

Since I was still skeptical about your "I got spit on and called a baby killer" story I thought I'd share it with Jerry Lembcke. So I sent him your story to see what he thought of it. As it turns out, he thinks it's bollocks too.

You disgusting, lying piece of filth! I bet my life savings you never even served! You punk ass bitch. I so exposing your lying ass.

Read it and weep you fuckface liar:

Welcome home, GI. :eyes:

7. Never got spit on but have been called the usual names, baby killer, murderer, etc.
I can tell you this when I was in Camp Pendleton awaiting deployment to Nam, we were not allowed to go into the city without going in groups of 3 or more. The reason stated was that there had been attacks on military people by "certain groups".

8. So I can just ask
my next door neighbor and he can confirm that you are a liar? And that you never served? Pretty cosmic! Maybe his five year old daughter can tell me what crimes you will commit in three years.

9. Yep. So it seems. I'd ask about what drugs that DUer was on ...
... but I prefer drugs that make the world look prettier. (We called it "Acapulco Gold" in my day.)
