Vets: Help my wife w/ a policy class:
She is a student in PHD level health policy class. Her topic to discuss is quality in VHA healthcare delivery.

Any comments to add "texture" to her discussion would be appreciated.

absolutely useless to me because I've always had to carry insurance from my employer to keep my wife covered. I have never even applied for health care through the VA.

4. Good by me
Vietnam Vet, with no major health problems, for over two decades I have always been treated with dignity and respect in the VA health care system, receiving quality health care. They move a huge numbers of Vets through the hospital I go to, an efficient processing plant. Fault or problems are to be found in all systems if that is what is being sought. I believe texture could be found by spending a day or two at any VA hospital, talk to the vets. Good luck !!

6. Not trying to find fault! The objective is to show that the VHA would be a...
reasonable model to build a national health care system.

thanks.

5. I've never been thru the VA system but I do know veterans who are
in the system. I can put your wife in in touch with some of them if you wish.
