Airman Accused of Sex With Underage Girl

A U.S. Air Force master sergeant stationed at Offutt Air Force Base has been charged in separate cases for having sex with two underage girls, including one who babysat for his kids.

Richard "Rick" C. Laramee, 37, was charged in one case with nine counts of first-degree sexual assault and one count of third-degree sexual assault. The age of that alleged victim was not immediately known, although the documents say that the charges stem from incidents in 2003.

In the other case, involving the babysitter, he was charged with three counts of first-degree sexual assault and one count of third-degree sexual assault, starting when the girl was 14 years old.

According to an affidavit from a Sarpy County sheriff's investigator, the babysitter would go to Laramee's military housing to help the single father of three. When the children were asleep, Laramee would touch the victim inappropriately, eventually forcing her to have sex with him on numerous occasions in 2006.

The babysitter told investigators she was afraid to tell her parents because Laramee was a friend of her family's.
