2. USAF vet here
just four years - I was tired of 22 years of moving (first as a USAF brat, then as an enlisted) - I enjoyed it though

7. My wife was in the Navy for four years
back in the early 70's. She was one of three "waves" on base. Her and another Third Class (E-4) were Radiomen working at the Communications Centers and there was one female Master Chief (E-9) Jet Mechanic working at an Air Squadron.

8. USA AD 82-'86
USAR 81-'82 (bout 9 mths)
KyARNG 79-'80

I did reserve and NG before deciding to go on AD. Was in the 2nd cycle of co-ed boot camp at Ft. Jackson in '79, then on to Ft. Harrison to DINFOS.

Were you looking for something specific about our service? I had so many experiences I wouldn't know where to start.
