Plea for Presidential Clemency on drug case. A must read.
Yep! You guessed it. This black woman's sentence was excessive, to say the least. "Poor man's drug" vs. "rich man's drug." When you read her letter to President Obama asking for clemency of her 27 year sentence, you'll see yet another example of the imbalance of this justice system. This country has got a loooooooooong way to go. Pathetic and depressing.
