13. It's an odd seet of circumstances. Some I thought were friends appear

to insist that in the wake of JRE's withdrawal from the race, that only one other candidate is an acceptable choice, and this in the overt absence of John Edwards' own decision to endorse or not endorse.

How odd is that?

We can post our support for John and Elizabeth Edwards, which ALL of us deeply feel, and still be disappointed that he is no longer in the race.

I'm just wondering if that makes any sense to you, Catchawave.

If Obama supporters are so alienating Edwards supporters, that does not bode well for the general election. They seem completely insensitive to this, and don't care what people think of their behavior or what bridges they burn.

What were there originally? Nine candidates? Clinton was not only my ninth choice, she was a distant ninth. Yet I am being accused of being a Hillbot.

I don't believe John and Elizabeth Edwards would make any such pronouncement.

And I don't believe you should be making it either.

What about someone who might have voted for Gravel in the wake of Edwards' withdrawal from the race? You think John would grab that person by the lapel and shake him or her until he dropped to the floor with shame?

Don't be silly. Edwards' domestic policies and proposals made a GREAT deal of sense to many of us. He's spoken in affirming tones of Clinton and Obama on his website.

That is entirely possible.

It is also entirely possible that Edwards will endorse Sen. Obama, in which case, y'all are going to be in odd position.

My thought would be to allow John Edwards to do his own thinking.
