Has anyone considered "drafting" Erin Brockovitch for her support and endorsement of Edwards?

I'm so glad he's talking clearly about his experience as a trial lawyer... best way to abort the "lawyer" swiftboaters!

It would be powerful if Brockovitch saw Edwards trial experience as akin to what she does, and would speak out on his behalf.

Does anyone know if she has been approached on this?

From reading what she has to say about her "philosophy", I'm not sure she would be willing, but I would think it's worth the try.

I wasn't campaigning for hitting her up for an endorsement, I was posing the question. It does appear that she's not quite a liberal (although certainly she's more of a "liberal" than Lieberman!).

However, one of John's strengths is his experience in fighting legally for those who have been screwed by the corporations. That's precisely what Erin does, and seems to believe in it strongly. That angle could be a hugely successful ad.

Doesn't mean she'd be willing.
