Edwards Supporters Put Their Money Where Their Mouth Is

I'm not sure if anyone has noticed this or not. I came to the end of the month with a little money left - a miracle that doesn't happen often - so I decided to make another small donation to the Edwards campaign. I remembered seeing that post about donating through Act Blue, so I read it and decided to make my donation that way.

I clicked through to the DU donation page at Act Blue and scrolled down the page looking at the number of donations and total dollars donated to each candidate through that page. Boy was I surprised and pleased! John Edwards is way, way ahead of everyone else. The only one that comes even close in terms of number or dollar totals is Kucinich, and Edwards leads him by 50%.

I really like this. It shows that Edwards supporters are serious about their candidate, and therefore more likely to stick with him. I think this is an important indicator of the strength and depth of his support.
