1. Sah-weeeet!!
There's just something about Tele's, don't you agree? Here's me with mine. It's a newer cheapie model, but it's got a SeymourDuncan mini-bucker in the bridge position.

2. Beautiful instrument!
Even though I've never owned one (yet), Teles are my favorite. I love the clean, single-coil bite, and the 'jangle' you get with Fenders.

11. I Played One Of Those In College
A bit smaller, but not much. 5 Manuals, two pedal sets, 400 stop knobs. One is VERY busy when playing one of those.

10. Wow! That's In Very Good Shape!
Is the case original, too? I have the new version of those tweed cases for my strat, tele, and j-bass! I like the look of them.

Sorry, i've got no place to post my pictures to set up a link. Gots lots of digital pictures of them, just no place to display them!

I'm gonna have to do something about that.

12. Orig. case
Edited on Thu Dec-02-04 08:04 PM by dogonarug
Can be seen in the Martin acoustic picture. I have worn off the finish on the upper rear bout where your arm rests and there are many dings that can't be seen in the photo...it's finally starting to look like an old battered Fender, after 35 years.

BTW, go to phoptobucket.com and upload your pictures there from your computer. Then copy the URL of each picture and paste into the text of your post.

A few more Fenders...green is an orig. 79 anniversary...other is a custom job.
Edit: Hey, there's the orig. Tele case in both of the shots below!

14. Here's me with my mid 80s ESP Tele
I went to buy a Fender and the owner of the store pulled this one out. He said when he got it in he knew that I would like it (He used to show me some pretty cool guitars back then). Esp put out a line of Fender style guitars (A Tele, Strat and a P-Bass). They were given the OK from Fender to use the same specs on that line. This one was a "factory second" because the paint job was supposedly messed up. It was black and I couldn't really see where the paint was bad. I had it painted with a 84 Nissan special color that my buddy who worked on automobiles had.
I have a Fender Tele w/ a rosewood neck also, but I got so used to playing this one that I haven't been able to let it go. The serial number is something like 0000086. I also installed a Seymour Duncan Hotrail pickup in the tail end. Pretty cool pickups IMO.
