Anyone here doing 5.1 mixes and burning?
I have Adobe Audition and can do the mixes, but I am researching on how to put the mixes on cd or dvd. Is anyone doing this?

1. i see noone answered.
ive used APACK and IDVD to create reference 5.1 dvds sometimes while we were doing surround mixes so people could take them home and listen.

i usually create a graphic with the name of the song for the video track.

it works but I wouldnt call it the highest fidelity because of the ac3 compression.

2. Thanks
I am playing around with video also and Sony Vegas has 5.1 encoding. I am thinking I can mix in Adobe Audition and then bring the files into Vegas and burn a DVD.

3. It worked
Very cool. A little bit of tweaking and I'll be mixing 5.1.
