Gear Heads: Way Huge Pedals (need advice)
I've got a Green Rhino II that's in fairly pristine condition, as far as I know.

Assuming it's still pristine once I replace the battery and plug it in, it's heading towards eBay.

When I bought this in 96 or so, it was $125 in a used shop. This time last year, it was going for a little over $200 on eBay. Now I look back there and Way Huge pedals (including the Rhino) are priced up to and over $700(!). The only one I see currently selling, though, is at $500.

So here's my question:

What is a fair market price that people will actually pay? ie, if you walked into a gear shop, what would you be willing to fork over for something this acclaimed?

I'm not trying to sell it to anyone here, just figure out what I should list it for. (I still have the original box)

1. people will pay enormous sums for stuff like this..
it's all bullshit if you ask me.. but i'd list it at 15% lower than average market rate.

it's just a goddamn guitar pedal.

2. I'm With You Todd
$700 for a guitar pedal. It better play the parts for me, so i can just listen. That's ridiculous. You can buy a pretty darned good amp for 7 bills.

3. I Think So Too, But
If I can make 500% or more profit, it ain't gonna kill me.

the big mystique is that the guy who made them will still help service them.

I never got much into playing, it was more of an impulse buy, but it is a sweet pedal.

4. Ever open one of these things up? They've got about 2 dollars' worth of
electronics in them. The insecurity of guitar players about "their sound" is boundless.
