Book recommendations regarding US socio-economic history,
Edited on Sun Oct-02-05 09:20 AM by timeforarevolution
please.

One of our fellow DUers posted a brilliant commentary several days ago discussing capitalism, referring to Teddy Roosevelt's impact on busting trusts, as well as the New Deal, and the gradual degradation of the term "welfare state."

Can anyone recommend books that look into these issues in depth, for the past century in America?

Many thanks in advance....
