Dead Block - PS3, X360, PC
Dead Block is a silly zombie game that focuses on strategy rather than fighting. You break apart furniture for materials to board up windows and doorways, search various items for materials to make powerful traps, and try to accomplish the level's ultimate goal before you get overwhelmed by zombies.

There are three characters: a construction worker that can quickly destroy furniture for materials, a Boy Scout (probably a Webelo) that can search really fast, and a meter maid that can fight really well, but she can still be overwhelmed fairly quickly if you make a mistake.

Each character can build basic barriers, and three unique constructs, such as unbreakable walls, various traps, and items that manipulate the zombies' behavior.

There is a free demo on PS3, and possibly for the X360 and/or PC as well. The demo consists of the tutorial level, and the first level. Dead Block is really unique; not everyone will like it, but I highly suggest giving the demo a try.
