Tropico 3 - PC - Closed beta applications now being taken

Never played any of the others, can't play this one but thought people might be interested :D

I have played in a lot of different betas though. Don't be afraid of any of the questions, answer honestly. They are not looking for specific players/systems/whatever. The general point of a beta is to get the game played by different types of people, those familiar with the previous games, those not, high end systems, low end systems, middle systems, ect.

It can be a lot of fun to have input to a game, enjoy if anyone gets in!

I love Tropico but never bothered with Tropico II because that was more about Pirates then building infrastructure and creating an economy.

4. With extensive beta experience, nary a peep from Haemimont/Kalypso

And I beta tested for Pop Top AND Frog City back in the day too! (RRT3 and Shattered Union , which I still have the original beta disc somewhere, Trade Empires for Frog City an AWFUL game using the RRT II engine)


The official release dates are as follows:

Worldwide (including UK/USA):
PC & Xbox 360: 16th October, 2009

Germany:
PC: 24th September, 2009
Xbox 360: 16th October, 2009

The PC demo will be released the week commencing 7th September, 2009.

BTW Imperium Romanvm and Grand Ages: Rome by these guys just sucked. I played Romamvm for about an hour before it got tossed in the dead pile. And Grand ages was barely an improvement (and only recently dropped to $19.95). I have installed on THIS computer the Tropico Mucho Macho edition, which I STILL play on occasion.
