It is a Diablo clone but really a very very good game. I'm not going to be playing again for a few weeks and when I do re-start it will be from scratch but would not mind finding some people to play with.
1. I bought the original game but not the expansion pack.
I discovered how many broken skills and stuff there were with the game and just kind of gave up on it. Now I'm starting to see that the community is taking over to do the job that THQ wouldn't spend the money to do patching the game, which I guess is good.
Maybe someday I'll consider picking up the XPac as well, but right now with money being so tight my wife and I are just playing Rohan (a free MMO sorta like WoW) together. When we do have the money we play a lot of EverQuest 2.
