Oblivion?
Anyone playing Elder Scrolls: Oblivion? If so, shout out. i've got no questions or problems, playing a dark-elf heavy fighter. Combat specialization, (blade, block, heavy armor, marksman, destruction, restoration, alchemy).

1. My wife is. She's an Oblivion junkie
Won't even touch any other games.

Her current thing is to try and play it as realistically as possible - Goes to sleep every night in a bed, even if it means paying in an inn, eats three meals a day, restricts what she can carry to what seems realistic (for example, her character won't carry more than one large weapon at a time), and even takes her characters clothes off and "bathes" in rivers. She also won't fast travel either.

I'll play again when we get the Shivering Isles expansion, but we're waiting until she finishes another chapter on her dissertation before we do that. Right now I'm playing Assassin's Creed, which is great. I'm thinking Mass Effect will be next.

2. I'm going to try and replay it soon
with the non-scaling mod on the dungeons. I can't stand how everything would outpace my character and I'd be finding heavy trolls instead of goblins in a weak dungeon.

3. Which mod?
I know there are a couple out there. Which mod are you going to use? I'm thinking of replaying in the same way, since the scaling was my biggest complaint. I didn't like getting attacked on the road by insanely tough 'bandits' or simply being able to jump into practically any dungeon I came across as I wandered. My preference was to be able to mark off the tough ones 'visit later.' ;)

5. Oscuro's
The mod's name is Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, also known as OOO.

It changes a lot of the game, making it well worth the replay.

www.tesnexus.com, i believe has a link to it (I dont think its actually housed at tesnexus).

Just got it for PS3... What an amazing game.

I like how you get to go to Oblivion like 20 minutes into the game! That whole level where you have to shut down the gate would be the final, splashy last level on 99% of the role playing games out there.

And on this game it's your first real quest.

Love being able to customize and name a new character class. I created a Tomb Raider. Blades, Sneak, Security, and Light Armor. With a little Destruction for pop, and Illusion to get out of sticky situations.

Good, good stuff.
