xbox 360 games still cost $60 at this rate I will have to buy used games or trade in old games.

1. Probalby when the PS3 or Wii come out you'll see older games
fall off in price relatively quickly.

As for now, grin and bear it.

3. Supposedly before Christmas 2006
So aim for November. Even then the prices wont fall until February most likely on used games.

4. some games are coming done in price
of course, you'd have to want to play something like Kameo...

I would urge you to consider the route of trading in old games you nver play anymore at a place like Gamestop. Plus, sign up for their more card - you get a subscription to game informer and 10% off used games, and an added value of 10% to your trade-ins. I traded in five or six old games and picked up a used copy of Condemned and had money left over. Nothing wrong with used games - a lot of mine are used and I've had zero problems.

Another thing I like about using Gamestop as my source for games is that the folks working there are really into games and are very helpful and knowledgable about the industry, so they've been able to answer all my questions.

Speaking of cheap games, if you're interested I have a copy of Final Fantasy for the 360 that I opened but never played, and I can't return it, due to some code that you register with that basically "locks" the game to your console and renders unplayable on others (Bastards!!!). Send me a PM if you're interested.

5. Gamestop is the only game store I shop at.
because it is closer to where I live. I will sign up for that more card next time I stop by. I don't have xbox live so I can't play final fantasy.

6. We just got a new Gamestop by me and it's pretty good.
Unfortunately the PC section is both sides of one four-foot chest-high rack, but they said they're still determining their inventory levels. Both employees there have engaged me in lengthy conversations...and one manager actually upsold me to a "deluxe" version of a game. I guess that's kinda bad; I know they *really* don't like me and are just wanting to sell games, but the attention in a game store is rare.
