Halo 2
I have been playing Halo 2 recently. I really like the game. It starts getting fun after you land on Earth(at least I think it is earth) and you get to drive all the vehicles. So far I have only gotten to third stage in the game. The one where you driving the tank on the highway.

1. I don't like Halo 2 that much
I really liked the first Halo game, and was looking forward to the second. It took them a long time to make it, and when it finally arrived it was basically the same game. Sure, there were some improvements and some new features, but it was all just kind of ... "blah". I guess I was just expecting more.

Plus, after playing the first Halo, I played TimeSplitters 2. In my opinion, this completely blew Halo out of the water. It had hundreds of characters to choose from, a huge variety of weapons, better maps, better game modes and options, challenges, un-lockable material, a map editor, and bots.

TimeSplitters: Future Perfect is even better. The story is great, especially the way time travel is incorporated. I just wish they had kept the dual double-barrel shotguns weapon :)

So I really don't play Halo that often. When my friends and I get together to play some games, we might ask, "want to play Halo?", to which the reply would be "Why? we have TimeSplitters." :)

2. Halo
I have not played Halo just Halo 2. That may be the reason I like Halo 2 so much. This is the first time I heard of Timesplitter 2. I do not think you are the first person I have heard say that Halo 2 is not as good as Halo.

3. I just got Halo2 and am stuck in the Rabid Tick Bunker... can climb out
i figure you have to Run across the flickering light bridge, but haven't managed to do that yet i cant figure out what i am supposed to do.. i killed all the ankle biting ticks..

so far it is pretty fun, but i know i am going to get a bill for wearing out all the carpets in the space ship running around in circles.. tho i do like figuring out all the situations, it is getting frustrating
