A Psychic Throw-Down in Norwalk
Why didn't she see it coming?

Sophia Mitchell, the sister of local psychic Sabrina Demetro, has filed a police report that alleges she was assaulted last week by a gang of rival fortune-tellers. Mitchell’s claim is that a trio of seers from Greenwich burst in on a reading that she was doing at East Norwalk Psychic at eleven o’clock in the morning. She says that she was thrown to the ground by medium Janet Lee, Lee’s ex-husband George Eli, aka Steve Cola, and an unidentified teenager.

Then, Mitchell says, she was kicked, her right hand was crushed under Lee’s foot and she was threatened with death if she reported the incident. It was only when Mitchell went to Norwalk Hospital the next day for treatment of her injuries that the details were told to police.

The alleged attack appears to be linked to charges filed by Lee in 2009 against Mitchell’s brother-in-law, Nino Miller, in which she accused him of punching her in the eye on the street near her Psychic Tea Room in Greenwich. Lee, however, was the one arrested by Greenwich police on the grounds that the report was false and that her injuries were the result of a domestic dispute. That led to an actual altercation last July between Miller and Steve Cola, aka George Eli, that involved more pushing and kicking. All of the charges were eventually dropped or withdrawn.

1. I didn't realize psychics had to resort to physical violence.
Watching Jean Grey Vs. Professor X taught me that usually they're intense staring matches till one person just disintegrates.
