My grandma died today
She was a funny as shit, smart, tough as nails lady who was as skeptical as they come. She didn't fall for anyone's shit, that's for sure! And she had no problem calling people out on their bullshit.

Here's to a kick-ass lady!:toast:

10. The world is poorer without her
I had a mother just like her. I'm struggling to fill those skeptical, sarcastic, take no prisoners shoes.

11. Thanks everyone!
Me and my dad sat through the priest's "you need gawd" speechifying rolling our eyes mumbling to each other about how Gramdma would have been really annoyed by him.

The best part was at the viewing when one of her little old man friends comes barreling into the room, comes to a dead stop, and asks us "Are you sure that's her?!?", we started cracking up. The funeral home didn't do the best job and it really didn't look a thing like her. Let me tell you, I find the whole "let's go stare at the corpse" ritual very creepy and the more of my relatives that kick off, the creepier it gets. I believe they're dead, I don't need to see it to believe it. Ugh. :scared:
