Its the twoof! I read it in GD today. I think the thread went poof but there was a link to an article. The "logic" went something like this. Spitzer was investigating corruption on Wall Street. Everybody knows the NY financial markets are controlled by the JOOS. And all JOOS have close ties to Israel. So they asked the Mosad to dig up dirt on Spitzer...
