my african violet died...:(
In the space of a few days it just wilted and dropped... Right now it seems half rotted.. It was a gorgeous large plant <about 7 inches across> and always seemed hardy.. I know they are very persnickety plants but im wondering if there is any hope in resurrecting it. Its too late to take any leaf cuttings, but im wondering if there is any hope that the crown under the soil might survive after a dry out, or something...

1. Not too likely but you can give it a try...
Usually they rot from the inside out, as it were.

Were you watering it from the bottom?

sympathetically,
Bright

2. RIP
I'm guessing it's dead. Probably overwatered. I kill them that way all the time.
