Update on Hanging Tomatoes

3. Do you have trouble keeping them watered?

I have three tomato plants in pots I have to water at least twice a day. It's a real chore, but the tomatoes are delicious.

4. Yes, I water them often

And I have found that a thick layer of straw over the surface of the basket or container helps a great deal. I've added that since the time I took the photos.

Tomatoes love even moisture, so I think we're doing the right thing by making sure they have plenty of water and that they don't dry out between waterings.

Four days later, I now have several ripe tomatoes. They were Romas and they were just beautiful.
