Most of the tomatoes are doing great. I have 1 Brandywine that is kind of wimpy and 1 Old German that isn't where it should be. My Sandia peppers are doing good. Just last week I quit pinching yellow flowers off of the tomatoes and decided to go ahead and let them make tomatoes now. Miracle Grow for Tomatoes did it's job this year again so far. I have 8 Early Girls, 2 Old German, 2 Brandywine, and 5 Sandia hot peppers.

Early Girls are still my favorite because they are pretty good size, they taste good, and you get a lot of them.

3. My brandywines haven't produced anything
I think it got too hot here for them. Jeez, it's only May. :( The plan now is to keep them alive over the summer & hope they blossom & produce something in the fall when it's cooler.

Hi,
That looks like some serious tomato growing going on. I hope you give some away and don't can them all! Those look awesome, good luck.

Peace

5. I'm envious. Yesterday I bought 1 flat of tomatoes. It has been so
cold here that I doubt the growing season will produce much of anything. It is 48 degrees now. and will be cold all week. New England weather, phooey!

6. Good luck with your growing season
Hope you get some home-grown tomatoes this year, with lots of warm sunny days.

7. I put down black plastic tarps for a few weeks before planting
It warms the soil so that the seedlings get a good start and are disease and bug resistant.
