Profound change is coming...

I very spontaneously did a tarot reading for myself yesterday, from my old deck, which I found hidden in a drawer. I probably have not done this in five years or so. I still have to read all the directions every time I do this. :-)

I did the Celtic Cross spread, and so much of what came out felt so right on target to me. But the very least card--the Outcome--was Death. "That can't be good" I thought to myself, but the description is about the coming of profound change, letting go of the past and embracing what's to come.

Which was so perfect, because it is exactly what I have been preaching to people at my office, and they look at me like I'm nuts, half of them. Since my original question for the tarot reading had to do with work, I feel quite vindicated.

Profound change is coming...and I am looking forward to it.

2. On the Greening Verge

is a book someone lent to me once about how there are two kinds of people in the world: those who see change for the opportunities it brings, and those who seek to control change. The greening verge is apparently a reference to a poem...the greening verge is that bit of grass that grows wild between the well-tended lawn and the forest.

I am a person who embraces change, but I grew up with someone (my mom) who tries very hard to control it. There are good things about both approaches.

Anyway, I think this profound change is going to be positive, if that helps.

3. I get readings like this, too

and have been saying to people (who will listen ,lol) for the past year.. BIG changes are almost here-and although it may be a challenge to slog through all this associated crap thrown about, it will be well worth the effort. I'm looking forward to things flowing again, too!

5. The Death card is nothing to be afraid of.

It makes me a little queasy when I see it reversed, though, because to me that indicates profound stagnation, but upright it is merely symbolic of transformation. Got to love the transformation.

6. How can we possibly fear change? Our entire planet is nothing but

change! Every day is a change, NOTHING stays stagnant here for long. It is why we are here...to learn about transformation. We have so many different examples all around us all the time. So many that we no longer see them for what they are.

I personally am in a position where I deeply welcome & desire change. I'm sooo ready for it, that I'm having to exercise my other lesson in this life....patience!

8. Callie, I've been going to the online free tarot reading that BlueIris

told us about (I believe, please correct me if I'm wrong). The Death card comes up over and over, no matter how many times I shuffle, what cards I pick, etcetera.

Rick told me to embrace the change. I will do my best.
