Tho my son has a wonderfully generous scholarship - there are still loans attached to it on our end. This will help immensely.

And extremely grateful he works as hard as he does. He is 19 and is beginning to comprehend just how deep in debt he will be when he gets out and it's freaking him out. We of course will help him as much as we are able. But this will certainly help.

6. It seems like a wonderful thing

I emailed the article to a friend who has been going through some financial difficulties and was worried about her loans. It looks like something that could help her.

Getting good information out is a great thing about DU. It is a gathering point for information and those of us that see it here can pass it along to others.

8. Isn't that the truth!

I've known about DU since about 2002 and I wish that I had joined sooner. I broke down last year after the primaries when I was about to literally tear out my hair. Since then, the amount of info both for personal reasons and newsworthiness has been a godsend.

I really hope this helps your friend. :hug: to her because I know what she's going through. It's good to be a Democrat :)

It can't help me x( because it hopefully will start July 1, 2010. But on the other hand, My LAST Payment is July 3, 2010, after almost 25 years of payments (on and off) :woohoo::bounce::woohoo:
