A challenge to you all

Ever read the comments that some internet news articles allow? So much mean-spirited negativity in those comments. Many sights allow you to report "abuse" such as hate speech or personal attacks. Personally, I take every opportunity to report such abuse. The last thing we need is more negativity in this world.

So, I encourage, even challenge, all of you to take a pledge. Read at least one internet newspaper article a day, including the comments, and flag as abuse any comments you feel fit that description. I'm not talking about flagging opinions you disagree with, but flagging the name-calling, foul language, sweeping stereotypes, racist or genderist or ageist comments, etc.

1. I'll do my best

My horrrrrid Cape Cod Times especially since becoming Murdoch owned is truly disgraceful.

And I often do comment- but should do it more. It's tough on the days that I need to commute
an hour to hyannis to pull a ten hour shift in the OR, then another commute home.

Does anyone have some advice on how to block the negative energy from my co-workers-
surgeons.... etc....

I'm a pretty positive individual an now have some staff putting their hands together in heart mudra-anjali mudra-
or prayer postiton when I enter or leave a room- so I'm making in-roads.

I'll try harder, and will post some responses, and perhaps some of you can join in and throw some support after me-
