1. Horrible nightmares

They started when I began clinicals as part of my nursing assistant class. I came home and just cried for hours. I am limited on what I can say for obvious reasons, but I can say the staff was surprised at my assignment. Trying to sleep last night was the worst, and I woke myself up screaming twice. I said some affirmations to return to sleep and have pleasant dreams, but it didn't help.

My grades have been excellent, but the experiential part has shaken me up.
Any advice on how to rid yourself of nightmares and any energy you can spare would be very appreciated.

Sounds like some negative energy has attached itself to you. I would suggest saging yourself if you have a sage bundle, or if not, at least wiping down your aura. Clean yourself off, and maybe clean your uniform and bedroom as well. Before going to clinical from now on, be sure to raise your shield to avoid leaving yourself open to any other "attachments". 30. A book that might help

I haven't read it yet myself need to interlibrary loan it but it is on PTSD and has a section on getting rid of reptitive trauma dreams. The author talks about it here How To Implement a Successful, Brief Intervention for Repeating Nightmares

The book - Invisible heroes: survivors of trauma and how they heal by Belleruth Naparstek, Robert C. Scaer

Again I haven't read this myself or tried it but as it was developed by a psychologist who worked at a VA hospital with veterans it helps some people and hopefully it would help you.

9. Update: Everything's all right. Thank you.

Thank you, Dream, Celebration, and anyone else who sent light. It's been a rough few hours. The short version: MG Jr. has (yet another) virus that came hot on the heels of strep. Strep healed, but he still has a persistent fever, so we went back to the pediatrician today. He sent us right over to the labs to draw some blood samples, and he put a rush on the results so he could call us about them tonight.
He was testing MG Jr. for leukemia. :scared:

The blood tests were all normal, however, thank the Universe. And now Jr. is in "the big bed" next to me, doped up on Motrin and snoring, exhausted from all the poking and prodding and needles. :(

Mama has shed many tears in secret, first in terror and then in relief. It has been a very long day.

I may have to go out tomorrow and buy a new box of hair color. ;)

I also assure you that there is a good chance he will grow out of this and next year will be a completely different challenge! lol

Terrible virus, though--sudden high fevers with severe chills that children's Motrin can't bring down fully, phlegmy cough, runny nose. He's better today (no fever for the first time since Friday) but quite drained. Right now he's leaning up against grandma and playing video games--the only part of him that's moving is his thumbs. :(

27. The house deal is not cut and dried.....

Went back to Banker Boy and asked for a bit more money to live on. He has already loaned me 8% of the value of the collateral (The house I need to sell in Houston) and I was asking for ONE PERCENT more.

He said no. I think he is a cold heartless petty tyrant repuke.

He said no because he COULD. He gave me NO REASON why he could not let me borrow more money. My HELOC can be renewed once a year. Well, I took it out in Feb. of last year, so the year has been up for a month.

Really illogical. He wants me to hurry up and sell it. I think I should rent it out so I have some income and wait to sell it till the house market goes back up. The market in Houston is still busy, but not as busy as it was last year.

I think Banker Boy is against me. I think of him as Bastard Boy now. After I sell the house and the bank gets their money, I am taking my business to another bank.

When I talked to the lady who is the President of the bank, she sounded like she would be happy to loan me more money to live on. But he was totally different, and I don't like him. I think it's personal animosity. He is a callow youth.

34. I pray for the insight to know why I sabotage myself or become victim

Please give me and the three others in my class who are having hassles beyond belief the ability to stay above the fray.
I seem to be the main target after receiving the ultimatum on Monday, "if you are taking this class at YOUR age just to prove you can do it", yada, yada, yada.
I have worked so hard, and even the Hospice Nurses have wondered why I was given such a difficult patient.
I have repeated this pattern over and over and over. I married men who were abusive, I have been employed (for a short time) by abusive bosses, and now I am experiencing this in a teacher.

I am thinking I must have chosen this on some level for it to be happening again and again. At this point, I am just tired. Tired of repeating the same old abuse patterns.

I am ashamed to say I have been crying off and on (mostly on) since I got home from class at 4pm. Yeah, I look like hell right now.
I don't know whether to speak with the director of the course or not.

Please send light and wisdom to do the right thing and the strength to get through it. Please also help my student friends get through these trying times as well.

We are getting mixed signals about what is going on with the job he interviewed for and got back in Jan. Remember, it's supposed to actually start April 16 (or therabouts). However, he has only heard back from the owner once since then, and other people have heard from the owner more than that. The ads for the place do not say they are hiring djs, so we are assuming that he IS hired, but the lack of communication is making him very, very nervous. We've been waiting on this since last September.

68. I have broken out in zits like I haven't since a teen

I *hate* asking for something purely for looks but I have continuous eruptions for over 2 weeks now and nothing I have tried has done more than slow it down a little. I *think* it started when I tried a new b-complex with co-enzymated forms of several bs. The only new things I have been consuming since the eruptions started is vitamins d & k which have made it no worse. Healing has sped up a bit since starting those so I will continue. The only thing which has slowed it down is a clay mask with sulfur and zinc in it. Stinks but better the faint aroma of sulfur than multiple mt. krakatoa's on my face.

Please send good vibes to help heal the source of the zits not just getting rid of the suckers so they can't come back. Thank you all!!!
