Did anyone else notice the faces on the Republicans
I'm still watching the Presidents address to the American public, and just laughing at the damn Republicans sitting there with their sour faces, and arms crossed like a bunch of two year olds. This is a disgrace!! I am disgusted with the "other" party for the lack of respect given to the President.
What he is saying tonight makes sense to me. I'm proud of President Obama for doing what he's done in such a short time in office. I think it's time the Republicians learn how to act like responsible adults and stop acting like a bunch of freakin two year olds.
I will go for now, and probably keep laughing at the old men sitting in the audience with their arms crossed and sour faces, like, I'm not listening. . . Jerks.

1. They'll get on the bus
To quote Kesey, you're either on the bus or off the bus. If they try to keep acting like spoiled brats, Obama is going to hand them their asses (in a tough-love way of course). If they keep being contrarians, the Republicans will go the way of the dinosaur. Which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

This is good. REALLY good. The repugs are trapped. Let 'em keep sucking lemons!

P.S.: Did you read your AOL mail, ya pillock?

2. The ones acting snotty are in large part responsible for the current troubles
and resistance to solving said troubles (so that they can become the only political party in the country).

As PC said, that ain't gonna work this time.

3. They were so closed.
Seeing them sit there, reading a program like it was fascinating while the greatest orator of our time was up there speaking-- so dynamic and these people were just sitting there like they were put in a corner.... it was such a juxtaposition.

I don't believe they are willing to be persuaded, to open their minds-- to consider working with our President.

Governor Jindal should read the writing on the wall.

4. Boy, ain't that the truth
What a bunch of sour grapes. You can read them a mile away. Reverse anything said by a republican (the party of the collective ego) and you have what they really mean.

5. The camera kept panning the room
I really liked that the camera panned the room repeatedly to show the contrast in response to the President's oratory. What part of turning things around and taking care of Americans doesn't work for them????????

6. They represent old thought
and old ways. Their expressions and body language to me meant they were closing themselves off to the new way of thinking and doing things. Some will eventually realize the folly of their ways.

7. EXACTLY That's what I saw as well
The body language told me that they were Republicans. I don't know who most of them were. BUT it was very obvious to me, as the cameras panned the room that the ones who had sour faces, not paying attention to what the president was saying, and down right being disrespectful. It was all about the body language to me.

I know Republicans like that. I feel very sad for them. They STILL support Bush and what he did as good. I try like heck to argue my point, and they just can't see it. It is amazing to me how many closed minded people are around. In this age of change, they still don't want to open their minds up to a better world. It just blows my mind.

Time will tell, and when it all turns around for the good, what will these sour people and closed minded people say then? You know they won't give the Democrats credit at all.

Oh well, I can pray and hope they see the new way of the world, but I highly doubt it. Just my opinion.
