You helped me get through the night
As many of you know, recently I've had some difficult times with my dear husband, who has a mysterious debilitating ailment that makes it difficult for him to do much of anything for any extended period of time. Since I have come here and shared my burden, however, he has been able to cope better and has even had more energy to do things! I know your thoughts and prayers have had a great deal to do with this, so I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. And speaking of hearts, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for those kind enough to give them to me!

Ayesha, it isn't myasthenia gravis? Has he done the full testing for hemochromatosis? http://www.ironoverload.org/diagnosis.html

3. Yes, they did full testing at Little Rock
the preliminary diagnosis was myasthenia gravis, but it was ruled out by the top neurosurgeon in the state. They gave him a whole battery of tests and ruled out any neural reason for his condition.

5. ayeshahaqqiqa you are one of the posters who make DU ... DU for me
I am glad you are here. And so sorry to hear that your husband has not received a diagnosis yet. I think this is a great healing group on so many levels and am grateful that ASAH has been helpful for your family.

7. I glad your husband's condition is improving
Has he ever been to any alternative healers?.?.?

Would he go if he thought it would help him?.?.?

Since he has been to traditional western doctors and they haven't been able to diagnosis what is causing your husbands condition, maybe he could see if an alternative healer could help him.

I will continue to hold you both in the light and love that his condition continues to improve.

Namaste

9. Oh yes, he's been to all kinds of alternative healers
including a doctor of Chinese medicine who helped him regain his source chi. He has gone to spiritual healers as well. Interestingly enough, they say that part of his illness, at least, is his spiritual challenge in this lifetime. He had a chance to leave this plane four years ago, when he felt a deep pressing pain in his chest. He asked what was going on, and Spirit told him "You can come home now." He asked, "Is my life's work done?" Spirit answered, "No, but you wouldn't want to do what you have to do if you stay." My husband said, "Try me." The pain went away, he was checked out by Doc, and no sign of a heart attack. So I know that at least part of this if not all is dealing with his life's purpose. In dealing with it, he has let go of his spiritual teacher and has worked on anger, forgiveness, and surrender--the latter is a real toughie he's still dealing with. Thanks for asking.

8. So glad to hear that, Ayesha
Hope you're sleeping better and have renewed strength to help him battle his illness.

Drawing from the bottomless well of ASAH compassion and good vibes is good for the soul, isn't it? :D
