I just got a nudge for Dennis Kucinich

To ask for protection for him. He doesn't seem 'powerful' enough to be in any danger from a rational perspective, but wanted to pass this along.

It seems to me that he has been much more prominent lately. That may be because he has new committees, although I couldn't tell you what they are.

I'm with *Peake* (Walk... sorry don't know new names yet), in that I'm not sure I trust Obama yet. If he does nothing to right the wrongs done to us and the world (by the cabal), I'm not sure I ever will.

1. Well....it's quite the Gordian Knot for our new leader.

Part of me is prepared to just let go of all the darkness we've experienced because it draws so much energy away from the task at hand and the birthing of the new. OTOH, how can we as a nation hope to build upon such rotten foundations, and unjust laws/policy and an overall corrupt, dysfunctional dinosaur of a system? The movement to replace and repair our nation's infrastructure is quite the metaphor. Sometimes it makes more sense to demolish rather than restore. Of course then one must be prepared to begin from scratch and with a NEW plan entirely or, like a pilgrim, venture bravely into the unknown one step at a time with faith. It is unclear to me which plan, if any, is on the agenda, but I sense that something must die first before there is a true rebirth, and that hasn't happened....yet. If feels more like we are treading water.

I hope Obama has some vision of where we go from here and perhaps is even an architect or cornerstone for the new. But the immediate reality may be that he functions first and foremost as the house inspector who helps us examine the structural integrity of our system to determine if it's worth saving, and if so, what kind of repairs or changes will make it more livable and solid and inclusive. Maybe he represents a bit of both. If it turns out that he is working to uphold the current order and supports those who wish to maintain the same basic model that got us where we are (superficially rearranging the furniture within the same room - or even a larger global room), then I think he must and will ultimately fail.

My sense is that he has inspired people to get their own hands involved in the process which is more powerful and signficant than what he does in more tangible terms. In fact it seems that he has helped to unleash something latent that is MUCH bigger than him and may even overtake him if he or the government attempts to stuff it back in its box or drag their feet too much.
In any case, harnessing it will be a challenge.

As for myself, I must simply follow my soul's purpose. I am just a stonemason doing the best job I can to lay my bricks according to the bigger plan by the true architect.

And I feel certain Dennis is doing the same and has made his peace with that.

2. Any request for protection of Dennis Kucinich will...

stir me to action. I'm sending protective light his and Elizabeth's way and I'll say a prayer requesting that the Universe keep them safe. (This or something better for the highest good of all involved.)

He's already survived one attempt on his life.

3. Sending white light to Dennis...

And am reading the Audacity of Hope by Obama at the moment. I think he will do what is right. He speaks of his frustration with the former administration. For anyone concerned about him, I would heavily recommend this book. Very readable and very comforting. When he was my senator for a brief time, I felt very confident in what he said, he did.

Obama is a poker player though - he won't put all his cards on the table for all to see. He will take action - we just may see it come from a source close to him or thru channels he thinks are more appropriate than a direct hit from him. He has huge amounts of political capital right now - and I think he is using it in a very methodical and kind way for the most needy among us.

If he were to start spouting about what a criminal Bush was, that would be ALL that was in the news and he would get nothing done. All discussion would be about that and the stimulus, etc would be side railed. His AG or his new head of the justice department who has stood out against the illegality of the Bush Admins actions prior to appointment will do what is right for the Constitution.

4. I am most concerned that the despoilers be removed from positions of influence

and thus, the creation of harm.

A while ago I posted in GD or GDP, that enough love would automatically obsolete these monsters and send them packing to places more appropriate, but love isn't quite the popular topic just yet. That post is in my journal somewhere. (I hope that at some point, people may find it and understand me at my core, instead of through all of the defenses and barriers I have to put up just in order to survive this place, and especially, this time.)

If Obama can remove the Bush family/OPEC/CIA from power and influence, then I'm for it. If he can do it through spiritual means, all the better! The way he put the kabosh on Rush Limbaugh a couple of days ago, gives me hope that he may be able to do so with the minimum of response (and yes, the manner in which he is doing this is also a bit frightening. It's just me; I've been screwed over and hurt quite enough to be highly wary of any display of power, and may I be incorrect! PC says in the other thread that all is well, that Obama is light through and throughout, and will be successful. This rings true. I'm just doing my regular job of shouting loudly when I see real trouble. People have been ignoring it for so long, I overdramatize in hopes of communicating. Here's hoping that Obama just makes it go away, which of course it has zero intention of doing).

5. A few days ago,

I watched the CSPAN vid clip of Dennis calling for a change to the FED Reserve. He rightly asserts that we should have control of our own monies, printing, regulating, etc. The FED is a PRIVATE company and holds the lives of the entire world in their hands. That is not Right. Dennis, and perhaps an Independent or two, are the only ones responsible enough, and straight enough, to say so IN PUBLIC. He was a real tiger when the committee was interviewing the airline execs too. LOL .. Kinda cute. I wish all our leaders were so fearless.
