Astrological Reading Request
I'd like to make an astrological reading request for my young son.

He was born at 10:05 AM, October 24, 2005.

He has some developmental issues and I'd like to get the take of someone who knows something about astrology. Personally I am rather skeptical about astrology but I thought it would be interesting, and I will keep an open mind. :)

1. To create his chart, we also need the location of his birth. nt

3. Your little one is no lightweight and I'm not talking about his physique.
If his birth time is completely accurate, he has the very last degree of Scorpio rising. That's a degree of intensity and great depth. That coupled with his Mercury in Scorpio in the 12th and a Cancer Moon and his Scorpio Sun conjunct Jupiter suggest enormous sensitivity, though he might have a bit of trouble focusing with the Sun in Scorpio in an out of sign conjunction with Jupiter at the last degree of Libra. That can be remedied through some simple alternative techniques. That conjunction represents his more affable nature.

He has a Grand fixed square if one includes the minor asteroid Pallas Athena in Scorpio which opposes his Mars retrograde in Taurus which squares Neptune retrograde in Aquarius, which opposes Saturn in Leo. These aspects have him feeling as though he is being pulled in four different directions simultaeously. He might do well with any form of martial arts, yoga, or alternative physical disciplines as he grows older, just to stay centered. Till then consider a little "rough play." He just has a whole lot of energy so he needs to learn to direct it. People with such dynamic squares often do amazing things but are not without their early challenges.

He has Venus conjunct Pluto intercepted in the 1st house in Sagittarius. That's incredibly passionate about likes and dislikes.

Moon opposed Chiron is part of the problem but he's likely to learn to manage it and heal over time and perhaps will grow up to have a gift for healing others.

Hope this helps a bit.

PM me if you require more specifics.

best

A chart is as vast as I life and to do it justice in a few paragraphs is sort of laughable.

5. thanks
Thanks. He is quite bright, but well behind in language and social development and presents some autistic tendencies. He's improved to some extent, but we are worried about how he will cope with life on this plane.

7. I wonder about the frequency of the occurrence of autism often.
Maybe these kids are somehow protected and shielded in some way that we can't comprehend as "this plane" is in a state of amazing transition, and perhaps they're just simply waiting.

I've only been waiting for 5000 years so I can relate. LOL

They aren't damaged. Maybe they are just shielded and biding time for now.

In the late 80's, I went to a fundraiser in So CA. Those people were having tremendous success with autistic kids by allowing them to swim with dolphins.

If you ever have opportunity to allow your boy to swim with dolphins (I did it in Key West many years later when I was preggers). I strongly recommend you doing so. Not being preggers but enabling that endeavor. If that's not feasible right now, just give him images, through videos, pictures, and books of dolphins.

Just keep him the heck away from "shark week on the discovery channel." (that's merely an old lounge joke but a rather peculiar annual phenomenon)

The dolphins spoke to me loudly as I'm quite sure they will with him.

I'm not worried at all concerned about his social development. With his 11th house configuration, he's just taking his sweet old time to connect.

He'll be fine in that regard over time.

In the mean time. . .Praise him, praise him, praise him. :) Reinforce his self confidence in any way you can.

To be a parent is to worry as wickfordbard (mum of four) once so wisely said when I was in labor as a matter of fact.

He needs some help with his confidence and I don't suspect he really suffers fools gladly or happily.

In terms of language, he's drawing from an incredibly deep level. People with Mercury in water are never ever spurious motor mouths. They process thoughts differently than most. They simply have a differently unique style of thinking and relating. They're thoughts must brew and slowly bubble up to the surface in their own good time. They often have the gift of concise brevity. They should not be forced until they're ready to offer stuff up on their own accord.

He'll be more direct with the dolphins I swear. They are probably more worthy of his attention than we. :)

Love him, love him, love him, as I'm quite sure you do.

Don't worry. Time is on his side.

8. boy
It is interesting. About 4 months before he was born, 5 months into the pregnancy, I had a dream where several beautiful women dressed in white handed me a baby, and said "this is your son." They told me he would have health problems as a child but that everything would be OK in the long run.

He was born with a minor birth defect, and we thought that perhaps that was what the dream was referring to. But once his developmental issues became apparent, we figured out what the dream really meant. I try hard to have faith that he will be OK, but sometimes it is difficult.

He's made considerable progress though.

11. I've a very good feeling about this child's ability to triumph over adversity.
He's a total trooper and I don't mean that at all in the militaristic sense.

He probably has more depth than you and I can possibly imagine.

But what do I know. . .? I just love babies and toddlers.

Those whom endure challenges early on often become the strongest. Someone once told me that when my kid was little.

I thought, "so what am I supposed to do. . . say okay kid go play in traffic. . . ?"

ridiculous though. He'll be okay.

Just love him and consider keeping the dolphins around.

12. I wish him phenomenal strength and resilance.
He has such a strong spirit. I don't doubt for a second, he'll prosper and flourish.

May we wish this for all our kids.

6. Have you considered taking him to an energetic practitioner?
I think they can be very helpful in cases like this. This isn't one of those either/or things. Of course you are going to take him to medical doctors, and get all the help there that they have to give. But sometimes they don't have all the answers. And sometimes just getting a kid in balance can do wonders.

You can find NAET practitioners at www.naet.com

If you don't want to spend any money on it but are willing to try something "out there" you can take advantage of my free (really, really actually free) offer.

A lot of people find energy medicine because of issues with the children. I know that because I am one of those people.

9. yes
Yes, he is already seeing an energy practicioner, and in fact he usually takes a step forward after a session with her.

The whole last two and a half years have been a real adventure for us. My kundalini rose on September 5th, 2006, and nothing has been the same since. I've had all kinds of spiritual and psychic experiences, despite my inate skepticism, and am a firm believer now in most of this...though I still have doubts about astrology, LOL :)

10. Another thing you might want to try is Brain Gym
Edited on Wed Jan-21-09 05:48 PM by itsjustme
I would look into that, I think. There's information on it all over the internet, and even some examples in You Tube, I believe.

Does the energy practitioner give him home exercises? Here is an example

Edited to add: I know very little about astrology, but I have gained respect for it by hanging around here.

You are right that all this energy stuff is a real trip! Interesting and fun.

14. no
No, she hasn't had him do exercises at this point. He is very stubborn about certain things and at this point she basically works with steading his energy and helping him center. She says his spiritual energy level is extremely high, but that he's not convinced yet that he really wants to fully incarnate and seems to enjoy his "half here, half there" state right now.

We continue to see small signs of progress. He's in a special pre-school now, and that combined with the energy work has greatly improved things like eye contact and non-verbal communication. As I said, he's clearly quite intelligent, but he just doesn't seem to live in our world part of the time.

His older brother (age 10) has genius-level intellect. It is very interesting to see the differences between them.

15. kundalini
Yeah, I will probably make another post about my kundalini experiences at some point soon. I've had all kinds of weird stuff happen....frequent syncronicities, messages from dead people....but most importantly, tastes of absolute universal Love.

16. the "aha" moment
My major one was a little more intellectual, although I have had some minor ones that were on the emotional side.

Weird turning point for me was when my failed root canal was treated with low level laser therapy by the chiropractor's wife. LOL, that is about as far from kundalini as you can get. But I have a strong left brain, and at that point my left brain made a decision. "I am not the same, will never be the same, I am not looking back and GOODBYE to the old paradigm, and oh, good riddance as well."

Still, a lot led up to that.........including lots of synchronicities, things like finding money all over the place (not major amounts, but it was still bizarre), and hearing the voice of my friend that had died a couple of years prior to hearing the voice. That was when I felt the unconditional love. WOW. WOW. Just wow.

I really feel sorry for people who haven't an inkling of all of this--the naysayers, the detractors. It is sad.

17. for me
Well I had been interested in religion and spirituality since I was a kid, and had some "mystic" type experiences as a teenager...brief tastes of unconditional LOVE. But it was always a struggle to hold onto it.

Then one day, in 2006, i did something I never had done before. At the urging of my wife, I went to a strip club and got a lap dance. It woke the fires...the next morning I woke up absolutely overwhelmed with total unconditional love....like electricity moving up my spine. I realized that if my wife loved me unconditionally enough to be happy that I got a lap dance, that surely GOD loved me in the same way. And all the fears and guilt i had carried over the years (and perhaps through many incarnations) just melted away and the LOVE flowed.

There have been all kinds of weird things happen since that day...i have "healing hands" now and people can feel an electric charge around me. I've had spirit communications, synchronicity after synchronicity...but these things are just side effects of what I call Love Conciousness: the knowledge, by direct experience, that we are all ONE, that we are all LOVE, that we are all expressions of the same creative ENERGY, and that this love is unconditional and complete.

After the initial breakthrough, of course, came all kinds of hard psychological work...now I have to unravel karma. But the rock of Love will ever be there.
