I wonder if this is partly Obama's special/speech. I was over on Kos and there are diaries there about how bars and restaurants quieted down to watch the presentation on TV. It didn't really start that way, people just got hooked. Some places even broke out in applause after. Certainly people are continuing to watch it into the late hours. Lots going on.

Usually when I check the dot it's green, but this week has had it changing colors a lot.

Thursday it is, sorry. HAHAHAH! Wishful thinking! I typed that in about 4 AM last nite. This freaking week! I've lost track of all time! :P

I haven't looked at the dot in forever because it was always green, but lately it's been doing something so I'm intrigued. The world coming together for Obama would be a big one I assume. We even have Peruvian Shamen on our side!

How did you get it on your start page? I'd love to not have to open up the site every time I wanted a peek. :hi:

I know the feeling, pet in the lap and most body movements but the most awkward are impossible to execute.

I have a pair of cats right now. They're still young and a little aloof, so when they choose to snuggle, everything else, even the most urget of bodily calls, is ignored for as long as possible. :D

I'm not sure if there is a good understanding on what that means (??) I do know the world is interested in our election!

7. I watched it for about 30 minutes last night

It would go from red to yellow, to orange, back to red. Pretty interesting. An hour or so before, it had been green.

8. it's a statistical thing

The way I understand it, it is actually supposed to be red, etc. a certain percentage of the time. It is only when it varies from the statistical expectation (such as being red twice as long as expected) that any meaning can be given to it. Even then, statistics are applied to see the likelihood of the variance being random.
