1. I just had a discussion with a friend about how fundies are praying for Palin

his reply was that they are engaged in spiritual warfare, then wondered if people on 'our side' were countering it.

So yeah. I'm in.

7. Which of these dates do you like best?

When do you think would be a good time?

Waxing moon is always best for positice spells. There's a new moon on Oct. 28 at 7:47 am, a week before election day. Maybe that would be a good day, although Tuesday's ruled by Mars.

Or maybe Thursday the 30th, since Thursday is ruled by Jupiter -- leadership, politics, power, honor, success, public acclaim, according to Spiral Dance.

Or Sunday November 2nd -- Sun, joy, success, advancement, leadership, natural power, healing, light.

Or does anyone have another good alternative date?

9. Samhain (10/31) is an extremely powerful time for spellwork.

The veils are thinnest then and you can get some really powerful results. This year it falls on a Friday, but I'm not sure what's going on astrologically that particular day.

I know there are some Wiccans who don't like to do spellwork on Sabbats, I'm not Wiccan so it's not really an issue for me.

I just thought I'd throw it out there as an alternative, especially for people who work with the ancestors.

8. At this point I'm focused on protection, really

Protection for our Dem candidates, protection against election fraud.

10. It might be a good idea to add some "chill out" spells, especially for the

other side! They're hitting their fear 'n' rage zone already, and will only get worse the closer to the election we get. We REALLY don't need any violence or craziness on top of everything else.
