Why does this Mercury retrograde suck so very, very hard?

Mr. MG just went postal on our skeevy neighbors (details in teh Lounge). I really wanted to talk to the neighbor calmly, in my own time, about his delinquent daughter, but quite honestly I chickened out as Merc was going retro, and then I figured what the hell--no way I'm going to broach this type of subject during Merc ret...and then tonight Mr. MG just snapped. So now the situation is ten times worse. :(

5. Oh, yeah.

Everyone. No one is immune. Those with harsh aspects probably feel it worse, or if it's transiting some place in your chart, but, yes, Mercury Retrogrades hit all.

10. I guess I'd better start counting my blessings !!

So far, I've only experienced VERY low energy. I'd like to cocoon in my bed under my down comforter all day and night. I've been like, "incommunicado" all month. I can't seem to have a decent conversation with anyone at this time. The only person that I CRAVE to be around, is my 2 yr. old Crystal grandson. He's feeling the same way about me too. I went to see him yesterday, and my daughter could hardly keep him from running down the driveway to meet my car. Nana was just too slow for him!! I wish I could relate all of this to my kids, whom I adore, but I don't want to alarm them. They just wouldn't understand. This is why I have come to really count on all of you here to talk me through this. I appreciate you all so much. As Rachel Maddow says, " talk me down" !!!:grouphug: P.S. Perhaps this is God's way of making me stay close to home and hearth, because at this point I wouldn't mind hitching a ride on that UFO !!!!

6. I don't know a whole lot about astrology

But from what I understand, it hits everybody, albeit to differing degrees. My former elder was born during a Merc ret, so she always said she embraced it...but even so, she still ended up being smacked by it just like everybody else.

And I thought never again. I went something like seven or eight blocks and had a ton of close calls. I was so glad to get home.

Minding my own business. The lady that hit me said her foot slipped off the brake pedal. At least she has to pay for the repairs, which at least are pretty minor.

12. While I'm sure all that other stuff is also making things messy, (or, rather, catastrophically bad)

what I was referring to when I started this thread was the large number of typical Merc Retro things that have been piling up this time (unlike the last couple of retros, which I barely noticed). Computer issues. Transportation issues. Communication issues. Typing issues.

It's in my 12th house, which might explain why things are much more messed up for me than they were during the other couple of Merc Retros this year, but everyone I know is being severely f-ed with by stuff that's in Mercury's domain right now, too.

So, I'm still stumped.

13. very very annoying this time around

I had a couple years of horrific, life-wrecking retros, to the point where I 1. felt like the planet that shall remain nameless was always retro and 2. dreaded them more than any other planetary changes

Then the last retro...nada, zip, nothing.

This is the first "normal" retro I've had in some time. First my email hit the skids. After a couple days emails downloading 1 at a time and taking half an hour, and hours of fussing, I figured out a fix. I celebrated for 2 days, and then my mcafee antivirus hit the skids. 2 days no antivirus and it fixed itself. And then my email hit the skids again. So I ended up disabling the email check on the mcafee and now live in fear of viruses. But at least can check my spam for actual emails in this lifetime.

Also a stink erupted from nowhere in my car. I drove around for days with windows open in bitter cold before I had time to search for the source. Somehow, the truck got inundated with putrid water, including puddles inside the spare tire. I have *no* idea how it got in there! The hatchback is bone dry. There are no holes underneath. No clues as to how it seeped -- or poured -- in!

14. My newest theory: since it's in Libra, everything essential for keeping our lives in balance

is out of whack. Also, everything needed for beauty, harmony, etc. is a potential target for Mercury Rx's ultra-inconvenient messyness.

Bastage Mercury is transiting my Moon in Libra, and I have been an emotional basketcase for 3 weeks now. I am homesick (which hasn't happened for years) it's been an awful retro this time. I am hating it. Counting the days until it goes direct.

19. How long has it been going on? I've had a 'headache' and have felt out of sorts for over a month.

It's not really a headache like a migraine, it's more muscular from the base of my head up over the top. I never get headaches. I also have had days when I talk to myself and say "is this really you?" because I do things that aren't in character for me.

When is it going to stop?

20. here's my story

We get on the entrance ramp to the interstate, to go to a sold out college football game three hours away. There is a board there, and we didn't see it in time to avoid it. We we run over the board. All seemed okay, so we went on. Ugh, not to be. We were slowly losing air in both tires. It turned out okay, because we miraculously found a tire place in the middle of nowhere on a Saturday afternoon. And we did make it to the game on time. Still, I thought about Mercury retrograde.
