Anyone have any intuitions about what is going on in Georgia / Russia?

I'm a little creeped out by it. I don't quite know how to explain this - it's as if our attention is in one place (the middle east) and suddenly, out of the blue, a threat we believed was in the past - war with Russia.

I think we should all pray for peace.

1. Well, only astrologically.....it feels very much like a Mars/Uranus event.

The rebellion and break away part going on within Georgia. And the sudden eruption of violence.
But from what I gather it's all been building for some time and it's key to Russia's energy plans.
I've posted a few stories on that at DU today.

Intuitively...not sure. Seems more of a flashpoint than something that will endure.
World events are so friggin' complex...

Let's pray that it's a blip but I do think it was triggered by the Mars/Uranus & Mercury/Neptune thingy.

Misinformation has been at an all time crescendo.

It's mind boggling, as if by design.

4. I don't like what I'm hearing in the news

Dead US troops found in Georgia? Cheney making threats?

We're all so focused on the middle east and whether war there will turn into a world wide conflict - to have this come out of the blue from a direction we stopped looking...

I don't like it one bit.

the sun and moon are passing over the same place - but the sun went over the north pole and the mon will hit the south pole. Its interesting that the Georgian parliament granted a declaration of war for 15 days...? what's the significance there?

I would be interested to know, too...
