With words, whole sentences as well as imagery. I've never thought to articulate that experience though. I suppose because its so fleeting and some part of me just accepts the 'connection'. The word ones happen ALL THE TIME. The imagery ones are more noteworthy for me.
I remember, for some reason, visualizing a car going into a tunnel at normal speed and then transforming and shooting out the other end at warp speed. I have no idea why that came to me. And then just directly afterwards an ad came on t.v. that was than exact same imagery (can't remember the car company). Perhaps a slight precognition tendency? Or synching?
While I sat in bumper to bumper traffic one day with a flatbed truck in front of me, I just got in a zone and imagined my vehicle's front hood ramming into the back of the truck and getting stuck beneath the back edge of that flatbed (because it stuck out several feet and the height of the flatbed was just slightly higher than my hood). Then I had a craving for a cup of coffee and saw a starbucks and pulled off just long enough to get a cup to go. Traffic was only creeping along anyway, so no real time was lost doing that short errand. When I pulled back on the road it seemed traffic was moving slower yet. A half mile further down the road I looked over to see that there was an accident. It was that same flatbed truck and a car whose hood was stuck under the end of the flatbed just as I had seen it. Fortunately no one was hurt.
