I have a prayer request for all of you please.....
I work at a hotel, and last night a woman checked in and committed suicide. Her name in this lifetime was Jennifer Prewitt. She had tried 22 times before to end her life. This time she was successful. She died as the ambulance pulled out of the driveway. She left behind 5 children and a loving husband.

Please lift up a prayer that her soul may receive love and nurturing and healing and that she may finally find sollace and comfort. AND please send some light and love to the family she left behind. They have lived in a world of fear and worry over their mother/ wife while she was here. AND now they are having to pick up the peices and move on. Apparently, this woman's father committed suicide as well. He checked into a hotel for 2 nights and shot himself. This is the same thing that this woman did, but she chose pain pills as her method to depart. Let us hope that there is no further hurt and helplessness that anymore of their family's generations suffer.

Thank you.

1. Oh, my.
Yes, may she find the peace she so needed in this life now that she has passed.

May her family be blessed with healing and, as you said, an end to the legacy of hurt.

4. Oh, goodness, glowing...
why would you blame yourself? How could you have known? I'm sure that it was a traumatic event for you as well as for her family.

7. Her daughter came to the desk 2 times to ask if she was here.. and she
gave me specific instructions that she "was not here". AND we have to abide by that request. I called her room and received no answer and I sent a maintenance person to knock on her room door... She refused to answer us. If her daughter had only told me that her mother was in trouble, I would have called the police. AND I don't blame her daughter.. it's very hard for a 12 or 13yr old (not sure the exact age) to explain to an adult that her mother is suicidal.

It really just sucks that this world could not help her with her pain. I only hope she's receiving the rest her soul needs now.

6. Depression
is a sometimes fatal disease. People who have members of their family who have suffered depression and subsequently killed themselves are at even greater risk. This woman must have been in tremendous pain to have made so many attempts.

My prayers for her, her family and all who were touched by this sad event. Nothing you did caused- or allowed- this to happen. It happened because she was very ill.

5. I will definitely pray for this woman's easy passage to the other side...
and for assistance to help her to forgive herself for what she did once she has her soul memory/knowledge back.

I will also send healing energy and light to her family; how sad. Let this pattern end here. :(

I remember watching a show once (fictional show) where a mother had to try to explain to her young son why his dad committed suicide. She said that sometimes, people can reach such a place of darkness, they cannot see any light at all, and thus feel no hope. It sounds as if that is what happened to this poor woman.

I pray that her soul is being tended to now, with all the love and healing that she needs, that she may finally see herself surrounded by light.

I pray for healing and comfort to her family, that they not feel it is their fault.

And I pray for comfort and love for you. While your life and hers touched but briefly, it was a profound event for you. I pray that whatever negative impact this event may have left on you dissipates soon.

9. That is terrible. Let's hope the soul of Jennifer Prewitt got sucked into the Light really fast.
Hopefully, she will find peace and healing on the Other Side.
