Anyone ever been to the International Center for Wild Animals in Zanesville, Ohio?
Just curious what this wind harp sounds like and wanted to learn more about the proposed 'Sound Walk'. 'Sounds' pretty magical.

Aeolian Harp at the International Center for Wild Animals (the Wilds), a 9000 acre wildlife refuge in Central Ohio. Zanesville, Ohio off Route 78 between Columbus and Pittsburgh.

1. Looks like someplace I want to visit this summer
Ohio's not too far away for me. If I get a chance to check it out I will let you know.

8. VeraAgnes
I lived in Carnegie from 2004 to end of 2006. We were quite literally neighbors! Before that, I lived in Sewickley (1999-2004).

So sorry I did not know that you (and DREAM!) were there when I lived there.

11. I KNOW, Dream
The only thing I can think is that it wasn't a "meant to be". Just wish I knew "why not?".

I am glad that we at least know each other online. This is good.

7. I wish I had known of this sooner, Dover
I lived in the Pittsburgh area for eight years (1999-end of 2006), and, this would have been a nice weekend trip.

Like you, I would love to hear from folks who have visited there. I now live in the NY metro area, so Ohio is now a long way from me (sigh).

10. Oh Goody! Looks like there's a good chance we'll 'hear' something
from one of you who plans a visit. Can't wait.

I sure wish more parks and public spaces would incorporate sound/environmental sculptures like this. I wonder what kind of upkeep or tuning it requires? If someone from here goes, would you mind asking that question?
