An electric fan was knocked off the table today.

I had just turned it on, and walked into the kitchen. The fan is about ten inches across, and has a very broad stable base which attaches to each side of the fan. There wasn't anything tugging on the electric cord. It wasn't "vibrating" causing it to move. It was running, and then it was on the floor.

My sis tends to think it was negative energy from one of her inlaws spilling over to us. I have no idea. Any thoughts?

1. What "feel" did you get around the fan?

A shift in energy,perhaps? A creepy feeling on the back of your neck? Or just a heavy darkness? All would indicate that there is a need to cleanse the atmosphere. I would suggest cedar, incense, even Rescue Remedy sprayed in the air. If it is heavy energy feeling, clapping or drumming in the area, especially corners, will dissipate the energy. Hope these ideas help.

2. Thanks for the suggestions. What is weird is that I didn't

get a discernible feel like I usually do, and I am usually sensitive to that. I wondered why I didn't feel a chill or see something out of the corner of my left eye, but it felt dull and empty, like, "I'm here and I'm gone again. See what I can do?" Like it was intentional bewilderment. The incident occurred to my right side this time, and I was about 10 feet away.

I have had a number of experiences in feeling a presence, but none lately. I also have had accurate premonitions about little and big things (money, accidents, deaths) that came true, including one where I kept thinking a guy's name was "Luke". Later I figured out that I was reading "leukemia". He was diagnosed four years later, and died of leukemia about seven years later. I've had a few instances of objects mysteriously falling over/off, but this one was so blatant.

I'll probably follow your advice tomorrow morning and burn some incense while the kids are at school. I've considered "ignoring" it unless something else happens.

3. Another suggestion

this thought came to me while reading your answer. Do you live where there are trees? Do any of these trees have shelf fungus growing out the side? If so, go out and get a little bit of the fungus, thanking it, of course. Then bring it in and set a corner of it on fire. It won't burn rapidly--it will smolder. Sometimes if it is really damp, it is difficult to light. The odor that comes off is not pleasant, but it will drive away malevolent energies--they don't like the smell. In the Lakota tradition, it is called "tonk" and one offers the plant some tobacco when obtaining some of it. I used this method in a doctor's office where some heavy negative energy was lingering. I figured out the energy was coming from a vent and placed a few unlit bits of tonk in the vent--energy lightened up immediately. You may wish to try this if the incense doesn't work.

4. Arrrgh. I don't have any shelf fungus on our trees. We are

in our dry spell now.
