Does Satan Lurk in Washington?
Read all about it on the front page of today's Washington Post. "Presidential candidate John McCain keeps calling Washington the city of Satan."

The story continues with comments by the Director of Cutting Edge Ministries. His belief, shared by many, is that satanic symbols were incorporated into the physical layout of the capitol city's streets.

Personally, I don't believe in a Satan. Sinister geometries, carved in blacktop, or beneath it, don't terrify me. I'm more concerned with people's actions about little things like waging war and global warming.

Although there is no one convenient Satan to blame for all the world's problems, people can do a great free-willish imitation.

If you really want to find these people, it isn't as complicated as drawing imaginary pentagrams in the streets of the District of Columbia. Just use Deeper Perception. (I especially like to do aura readings. You can learn all you want about character that way, reading people's energy fields in depth and detail. (http://www.rose-rosetree.com/faq.htm#healings)

In particular, I would recommend my brand new book, "Read People Deeper: Body Language + Face Reading + Auras." (http://www.rose-rosetree.com/readpeoplebook.htm) It contains 50 chapters to help you answer the really important questions about people. And one of those categories is "Evil."

Since this question is in the news now, let me give you an invitation. Advance copies of the book are available now. You can order by calling tollfree 24/7, from the U.S. and Canada, 800-345-6665 or by clicking here. http://www.pbscart.com/cgi-bin/cp-app.pl?&pg=cat&ref=womens&lnkbak=catpage&lnkref=womens

After you order, you'll receive an Order Number. If you email me with that number, and mention this article, I will send you that chapter. It will reach you quicker than the book, which is still at the printer's. (That's why we're calling 'em "Advance Copies.") Email to RoseRosetreeVerizon.net.

JOHN MC CAIN, FUNNILY ENOUGH

Ironically, Senator McCain comes pretty close to EVIL himself. He's not quite there, but his solar plexus chakra shows such concentrated rage that he's like a second cousin to Lucifer (assuming one believed in the latter, which I still don't).

Just for fun, try aura readings of any databanks at his third eye. But, I'm warning you, do NOT do an empathic merge (http://www.roserosetree.com/empathybook.htm)about him or any of the others I'm about to mention here. Even a very skilled empath won't undertake such an experience lightly.

McCain is so clogged up with negativity that it will show publicly, sooner or later, and not just by calling the government names. Isn't it funny how many politicians make their career out of loathing other politicians?

And when it comes to carrying mega-destructo qualities in an aura, some other political candidates for Satan substitute are Condi Rice, Karl Rove, Dick Cheney. A numbed-out but highly effective aura for carrying destructive energies belongs, of course, to President George W. Bush.

Comment about any of them you like, you readers of Deeper Perception. By all means, balance out the outraged tone of this post by describing gifts of the soul, which assuredly lie deep beneath under all the STUFF in the auras of these famous folk. Or bring balance by describing auric features of interest in Democrats who are one wink away from evil.

Here, I just want to conclude that, among eminent Republicans with scary third eyes, and more chakras to match, John McCain isn't such a "maverick" after all. But, despite his much touted "maverick" qualities, doesn't he always fit in quite nicely?

1. interesting
Here is the Washington Post article, which is amusing. I don't really think McCain calls Washington evil because of the geometries, but maybe because there are some excesses practiced there. But it does bother me to have all these people see things in the good/evil dichotomies. You know, the axis of evil, etc. etc. Just isn't a helpful mindset.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/story/2008/04/09/ST2008040900976.html

I love sacred geometry, and to me a pentagram (rightside up) is positive. It is imbedded into a dodecahedron, which is the best!! Our universe is in the shape of a dodecahedron. Probably a lot of energy fields are in the shape of a dodecahedron. But an upside down pentagram, and black, tests negative for just about everybody.

There are some people that think that all masons use symbols of satan. I don't see any evidence of this. We do have some masonic like symbols in Washington, and also on the dollar (though the Treasury denies it)

I would agree that McCain has blockages in third, fourth, and sixth chakras (at least just now when I checked).

I'm not sure about the existance of Satan. But for sure negative energy exists, and I wonder what is the source?

Everyone stay positive!

12. The source of negative energy
Hi, itsjustme:

Lovely to correspond with a fellow aura reader. Blockage, to me, is just another name for negative stuck in the body. One advantage I think we have, reading auras, is that we can do healing on that level.

In the old psychological model of healing, a la Freud, your only hope was to track down the problem by investigating it, putting together the puzzle piece-by-piece, until you had enough of the puzzling part done to achieve catharsis and healing. You, or McCain, with this approach, might spend years "Workin on my issues."

Like many here at DU, and this part of it in particular, maybe also you! I am involved in healing auras, not simply reading them. For the kinds of healing I do (http://www.rose-rosetree.com) what matters far less than where negative energy COMES from is getting it out. Depending on the problem, different techniques work to permanently move it out.

And that's the kind of positive I like! Positive attitudes, though endearing, don't impress me unless the person has the standing to express them authentically, you know? I sense you are one of those, itsjustme. :-)

18. Well about three years ago
I figured out I had a third chakra problem, and other members of my family had it as well--also one had a fourth chakra problem. One person had a physical problem directly related to the chakra. I had done energetic stuff but didn't pay much attention to chakras until I found all those emotions related to the physical problem, and they all had to do with the heart. After that I started dealing with auras to correct the chakra and meridian problems more permanently. Usually I use pretty straightforward radionics to do this.

Thankfully, we are all now in balance.

Absolutely agree--get it OUT--who cares where it came from? Yeah I love to get rid of that negative stuff in people. It can sometimes make a huge difference.

It is more than a little unsettling knowing that McCain has three chakras that are blocked.

I found that when I corrected the chakras, sometimes they would become blocked again. Once I started working with the layers of the aura, the chakras stayed clear.

19. Could you post something about the symptoms of blocked chakras
and how one could unblock them?
Or perhaps could you recommend some reading materials or websites on the matter?
Thanks.

20. I think the symptoms are all over the map
Some people get physical symptoms, and some get emotional symptoms. Have you ever seen one of those chiropractor diagrams that show where the subluxations of the spine go? It is kind of like that. There are nerve plexuses (solar plexus is third chakra) that come from the spine and into a plexus and then go out to different parts of the body. A blocked fourth chakra could affect the heart or the eyes, for instance. But there are a lot of overlaps.

My experience is that third chakra might be related to blood pressure issues. But I don't have a lot of data on that. Fifth chakra can be throat or thyroid, etc.

Find pictures of where the chakras are, and you can test your own using a pendulum. Place the non dominant hand on the chakra, and with your dominant hand hold a pendulum and say "The______chakra is free from blockages." If you get a yes from the pendulum it is AOK. If you get a no, you could actually temporarily clear it with the pendulum. As an example, you could go counterclockwise with the pendulum to clear the negative energy from the chakra, say for a minute, then go clockwise with it for two minutes, to put energy back in. The chakras spin clockwise. I think an exception might be the seventh chakra on some people. I have yet to find that one blocked in anyone.

If you want it permanent then you will have to do clearing of the aura. I would suggest doing some web searches for that because there are so many different ways to do it, and you can just find one that resonates with you.

2. What exactly is Satan?
I have believed that there are some very evil energies in our universe and they do seem to influence those who aspire to or have acquired positions of wealth and power. So the fact that Washington could have attracted an overabundance of these energies could be possible. However, since I really don't think that there is such a place like Hell ruled over by an all powerful, maleficent angel, I think we have to think about these energies in a different way than our religious traditions paint them.

5. Intereresting!
I, too, ascribe to the "Satan doesn't exist" thought but over the past few months, my guides and teachers have led me to some things that really show the seamy underbelly of some of our so-called leaders over the past many years. I asked Spirit why I was being shown this so vividly. The reply came that since I was to be working in the energy healing realm (as is my path), I needed to just be aware that this kind of energy exists in the world. Not to add any fear into the mix or anything like that but to just be aware of it.

Not yet sure how this will apply to my work going forward but it definitely fascinates me. I am a student of Rose's and can speak to her knowledge and abilities. And yeah, let's all NOT do an empathic merge with McCain. Ewwww. Just thinking about that level of density and yuck squicks me out. Bleah.

David Icke makes the point (as have many, many others) that energy is just energy - it is neither negative or positive. It is how it is used (i.e.: intention) that creates the flow. I would agree. "As you think, so shall you be."

16. Being Aware Sounds Perfect
Mysticalchick, we meet again. :-)

The ability to notice, without either flinching from or dwelling on, negativity -- I think that is the mark of real spiritual maturity. Not to mention effectiveness.

One of my favorite book quotes of the last year was from something by Deepak Chopra (alas, after so many of his titles, they blur together in my mind), but he wrote something like this: As humanity continues to evolve, we will stop feeling the need to blame someone like Satan for our own problems.

I went, "Boinggggg, Deepak clearly had a V-8." No, actually, I was awed by his courage. As well as his correctness, whether it was "politically incorrect" or not.

13. Aura reading of Obama and face reading, too
Hi, TNOE,

I know there are loads of posts at my blog and somehow, despite all the expensive and elegant blog redesign,it's still to get what you want from that search box. So...... I think I will actually put them up here as separate posts. Easier to comment.

Otherwise, just take a look at the blog and use the search button on the upper left. I do take requests, depending on what's going on with our community there. And if you've guessed that I am interested in all this, verging on obsessed, you've got that right!

So, thanks for asking.

8. I've a deal with Satan
I don't believe in him, and he doesn't believe in me.

Pan is another matter.

The Aramaic root of the word "evil" means "unripe."

That suggests something that requires more sunlight (aka consciousness), nourishment, water (aka emotional support), and time (patience), though I've heard no one else elucidate it as such, but most metaphysicians don't live on farms. That perspective sure beats all the tiresomely unenlightened dualistic shadow projection that is bandied about so much these days.

I've long eschewed the usage of the word "evil." It is LIVE spelled backwards after all.

From a dualistic perspective though, it does all come down to love and fear though.

9. That's a very enlightening way to phrase it.
I've heard the "unripe", but when you go on to add the details, it REALLY strikes an impression.

Perhaps all there is is potential and by converse, no potential. A 1 or 0. The no potential has the ability to become potential, but until it does it is a zero, like a seed? hmmm

10. From a purely horticultural point of view,
Edited on Thu Apr-10-08 02:54 PM by stellanoir
some seeds are compromised, some are genetically modified, most are healthy, but the degree of ripeness sort of suggests something else.

To me it suggests fruit, far beyond seeds.

An unripe piece of fruit is not sweet. A ripened one is.

An old lover was the most astute numerologist I've ever met. He studied Number symbolism and Pythagorean theory.

Again from a dualistic perspective, with which I don't align myself generally, though most do so, folks are either coming from their spiritual source into the physical plane (creating karma) or moving from their physical source striving toward the spiritual plane (resolving karma).

I explained the patterns in a lengthy response to dear cassie once but I neglected to bookmark it.

It totally resonates with me though even though more often than not it's a mixed bag.

Yet I much prefer to see things as multidimensional really.

Though alas, these are the ways of most of the world.

11. Wow, I've never head it explained this way
"unripe" - that's so perfect. Thanks for that explanation. What am I missing though - "pan" - I don't know why you mean by that.

Also, according to the Conversations with God books, which I dearly love - it speaks of there only being two emotions - love and fear. And ALL emotions stem from the two. Fear is just a lack of love, and anger is based from fear, jealously is based from fear, etc., etc.

14. Pan is often associated with Dionysus
He was the god of nature worship. He was perverted into the Devil and that was total BS.

The natural realm and the physical realm ideally should be melded. Not having one being demonized only to disempower us all.

There are far more than two emotions. Yet alas, most are wired dualistically.

So it is quite easy to see it as such.

best

I don't believe in inherent evil as much as I believe in those forces as being two sides of the same coin and they can be misused.

Oopsie, this is embarrassing, but I omitted that it was the front page of the Style, or feature, section of the Post where the story was all about "Satan in DC."

I would have edited my original post but the time window closed. I do apologize for the inaccuracy.
