Semi-Emergency Vibes - furnace making oily smell, repairman on way tru icy icy roads

Please send light, good vibes, reiki, prayers, etc. for the repairman to get here and home safely and if possible the repair bill be as small as possible. I sanded and salted the heck out of our steep path from house to driveway but it is raining and icing as I did it. I don't have much sand left so some vibes safetly there would be wonderous.

6. Thank you everyone. Sorry to not report the results last night!

I was so tired after I conked out and am only now partially functional.

The repairman arrived OK and found the furnace door was left ajar by the person who cleaned it last. He couldn't find anything wrong but changed a nozzel just in case and cleaned a bit. Everything smelt badly of oil throughout so I couldn't tell for a couple hours if anything had changed but then I noticed that when the furnace came on there was no more oily smell. I was so worried because the last time I smelt something so strong the old furnace was leaking carbon monoxide. We were so lucky it was also leaking something that smelled that time. We had a CO2 detector back then that would go off and several repairmen said they couldn't find anything wrong until that last time when we got one man who was always extra careful so my Mother would ask for him for cleanings and repairs whenever he was available.

Thank you all so much again! No one was hurt and we are all safe and warm :)
