Alllllll right what the heck is with this full moon?
It seems much more potent for some reason. Everyone I've come into contact with has had a bad day (including me!), I've been on the verge of tears all day, Mr. MG is again making his noise about moving "somewhere else far away" after being silent in that regard for a while (that noise of his is stressful for me because I refuse to go anywhere while my mother is alive--she's in her 80s--and he knows it), and when I went to the supermarket and one store in the mall today, everyone was walking around in slo-mo; in the supermarket, I had to excuse myself repeatedly in order to get through the aisles, and every single person I spoke to blinked and jumped like I had just woken them up. Nobody was mean--they all apologized--but they were all acting like zombies.

I say I say I say... :wtf:

1. Hmmmm, maybe it's National Quaalude Day
At least, that's what I call days like you're having. It feels as if I'm the only one moving at regular speed, and everyone around me is moving in slooooooooooow mooooooootion.

:wtf: indeed!

2. Damn, and I missed it?
I could do with some decent medication right now.

Actually, I'm self-medicating at the moment, with a wee bit of fermented grapes, but it isn't really what I want.

3. I know. I always miss it too!
I never find out until I'm in the midst of a group of zombies!

4. Hold on
I'm thinking about writing my first stellascope in ages.

But in the mean time whether I do it or not, fixed full moons are the ones that cops notice. . .okay. . . ?

Lot's of other stuff is happening as well.

I'll try to get it out if I can.

5. (((hug)))
Sigh....rainy cold days like today send me into a zombie funk sometimes or at least put me in a melancholy mood. And I play my moodier music too...haunting Irish tunes or the sound track from the movie The Piano, or Steve Tibbets, etc. I guess I sort of indulge these moods that way, make myself a big pot of tea, maybe meditate, read, soak in a hot tub, get some paperwork done, do some writing, etc. I'm really not good for much else, so why not?

The moon isn't officially full until tomorrow but I think we're getting a little preview. And also Mercury is stationing for its retrograde and Pluto is just on Cap's doorstep.

Why do you suppose tears are so close to the surface today MG? Reading of your husband's comment made me think about your dream for some reason. Any connection there?

7. Thanks, Dover
 Back atcha.

I wish I knew astrology, to be able to interpret days like today. I dunno--I just woke up all teary, beat it down, but it keeps getting teased out of me. Prolly PMS--I think I'm due (I don't really have a hard and fast schedule for that kind of thing).

As for Mr. MG's thing...I thought about it earlier, before I started this thread (GMTA, eh?) but...I don't think so. It's hard to say why, only that when I meditate on it, it doesn't resonate that way.

Of course, I could be wrong--it's been known to happen on occasion.
 (I keed! I keed!)

9. Yeah, it might be obvious what's up if you could read your chart.
Sometimes tears are just stress releasing itself too, which is a wonderful design feature that the Divine threw in for good measure.

Anyway, I'm not sure I should even try to speak coherently when I'm in these states? I'm definitely in zombie-mode and could easily have been one of those slow-motion shoppers you had to maneuver around today. It's amazing to me how I manage to do anything in this state. I'll be driving and not remember where I am going, or I'll turn in my driveway and not recall the trip home at all. Just 'somewhere else' I guess. La-de-da...la-de-da...

11. OMG I do that too!
The driving thing especially. "Missing time"--it's not just for alien abductees anymore!

As for crying--I agree about it relieving stress. Lately I haven't been so very stressed, so I just cry one day a month as part of my PMS ritual (hence my supposition that this is my "teary" day). Of course, my friend's freakout freaked ME out so much my eye twitch came back (thanks a bunch, right?)

13. lol! ". "Missing time"--it's not just for alien abductees anymore!"

Now how can you be so sure?
Maybe we HAVE been abducted. Or at least that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

8. January 21st is called Blue Monday according to this
http://owlsdaughter.blogspot.com/2008/01/tarot-card-of-week-jan-21-27-2008.html

Interestingly, Jan. 21 has been called Blue Monday. Dr. Cliff Arnall, a researcher from Cardiff University, has come up with a formula that claims that the third Monday of January is the most depressing day of the year. A combination of unpaid Christmas bills, low motivation, the post-holiday letdown, depressing weather, and failed New Year's resolutions make this day the gloomiest in the calendar.

14. I believe it. I've often found that first decan of Aquarius to be hell.
For all the reasons mentioned in that article.

15. I think everyone is stressed out.
I know I am. But the moon is not all bad. The stock market was not as bad off today as people expected, and we got personal financial news that was good.
The main problem is, nobody is buying anything. In real estate, everything is at a standstill. But nothing stays in stasis forever.
I think once Mars changes over things will get better. Just have faith.

16. Yeah, I got so stressed I got sick!
I haaate when I do that to myself--and it's a raging sore throat--fifth chakra blocked, wot? :eyes:

But today wasn't bad at all--I've been watching some stocks for a relative, and they actually went UP (just a bit) today. Plus the person my husband freelances for begged him to go with him on a work trip in February which means four days' worth of $$$.

Oh--and get this--after all of Mr. MG's whingeing about wanting to move? It was because he says there are no jobs in his field around here. Not 24 hours later (tonight), he's shocked--shocked!--that a whole bunch of jobs popped up on the employment Web sites he frequents--right in our area. Hee--the Universe really wants me to stay in this area--I've always felt that.

Anyway, thanks for the words of encouragement--I do agree--everything changes before you know it. I can wait till the end of the month--it's not that far away. :hi:
