Can I tell you about a dream?

I have no one else to exlain it to.

I dream that I have been awakened from a long coma, and I have no idea how long it has been. In fact, I dream that my parents (my mom is alive again!) agreed after much soul-searching that the doc could "pull the plug" but I got better, even though I was expected to die. I awaken from the coma with confusion and emotional pain from understanding how sick I was and that my parents had given up on my chances for survival, and I am having a hard time finding out how long I've been "asleep".

My dreams have been really intense lately. Usually there is a road trip, sometimes on a dirt road, other times on highway. Sometimes I am living in an apartment, sometimes in a strangely-designed old home. I am usually not married in the dreams, although I have been married almost 15 years. Sometimes there is a boat i'm supposed to take, and it is in a bay, not the ocean.

Any comments or observations would be welcome and appreciated.

Answer this question and you will understand the dream. The dream is telling you that you need to "wake up" and make an important change in your life path. As your parents are there, you may be getting hints from what they think, whether they are here or are over "the rainbow," so to speak.
Have faith in yourself. You are trying to tell yourself something.

This really hit home. I need to go back to work, but am not sure what I want to do. I've got two careers: one in banking and another as a registered nurse. I have no desire to go back to a hospital. Been thinking about hospice. But my kids still need me around here, but we need to be making and saving more money for our retirement.

Furthermore inheritances are always physical or financial.

It would seem as though some qualities your folks instilled in you are warranting reclamation or revival for a transition you are approaching.

Consider remembering goals you felt as a child and whether they still resonate with the person you've become.

Normally I do pretty well in seeing symbols and puns and hidden meanings in dreams. But I was so blocked on this one. MAybe because in the dream and upon awakening from sleep I felt so emotional about the content, especially seeing my mom.

9. I'd have to put it as if it were my dream.

I'm waking up after having fallen asleep to my physical existence. I had just about resigned myself to my situation and decided to live out my life in this circumstance, becoming rather impersonal and unemotional to that and opening to a higher self, but now I have come to myself physically even tho I'm still confused and unsure about what all this means. I have to get back into my ego self for now, not die to the physical ego as I'd thought about doing or had begun doing. I need to be aware of my parents' energies again, especially my mother's, and see where they might lead me. My higher self, my mother-father God, had just about given up on my pursuing my physical ideal, but now I'm ready to get after it again, except that I'm confused and unsure of what it all means.

Death in one dimension means birth in another. I'd say this one, if it were my dream, is a giving up of the purely spiritual for awhile, which you were pursuing maybe. The spiritual, in a sense, feeds off the physical when we start pursuing a spiritual growth objective. But now I need to get back into the physical, be born again to that. Im being given another chance, after I'd almost given up.

I've been wrestling with my spiritual life, the old one and the new one which is about as active and capable as a fetus right now.

"Death in one dimension means birth in another." That is so meaningful, and in a way I had not considered. The resignation has been present for awhile, also. We are raising two boys, ad the older one is autistic. So much of our lives have changed since his diagnosis.

10. I'm always interested in comparing dreams.. but not an expert-

(the usual disclaimer) :-)

Over the years, I've come to the conclusion with similar dreams that I'm dealing with the question "who am I?" especially when my solar return aspects my 4th house, which coincides WITH doing something that also reflects issues in my PHYSICAL home.

Anyway, whenever I dream about an interesting designed home, I try to pay attention. If that home has many dark corners, unused, then it's more telling, and I generally try to "redefine" who I am in some way. The imagery in where you are living in the dreams here is telling. If I am changing that scene, or it's a big confusing house, I'm usually trying to discover what my role is in who I am. When my dreams have me looking out over water, then I try to see what the water is doing for an emotional reality check. I personally have experienced lots of waves and swells (which seems to be a need to pay attention to my more emotional way of reacting- the message is "detach yourself, girl!). You seem to have a calmer emotional state about this change, in that it's a bay and not an ocean. You perhaps are being more objective?)

In total, It sounds as though you are coming out of a detached period? Are you seeking validation of this feeling (parents) ? Anyway, that's my take. Thanks for sharing it. :hi:

Yes, I have felt a real loss of identity over the last few years. I am feeling it again as my business practice is changing and I am considering closing it and learning something else. I am also having to work myself to be a more responsible part of the household. Seems like I can never get enough done, even though it feels like I am working around here all of the time. But I've been sort of detached to not experience pain on a daily basis in dealing with my anxiety over my son's disability.

Here are my impressions and sensations of your dream (not an expert or anything, but just having "feelings"):

you are about to begin a new journey in your life
you would like your mom to help you choose what to do, but she is not here physically, but she is always with you spiritually - or in the spiritual plane if you will
from what you said, I think that the hospice is indicated by the dream, as in the dream, your parents had to make the choice about how to care for you and how to let go
you have gifts in these areas, you know how and what it means to die, and you can help others to make that journey with their loved ones
You have a connection to the world beyond, but you don't share that with many people
you have/recieve insights and "hunches"; you need to follow them, because when you do they are always right. don't doubt youreslf
your parents are always by your side
you need to spend a little time in nature to refresh youreslf, so you don't lose yourself.

Yes, I have been visited by the departed, I have had strong premonitions that came true, and I have seen an astral projection, but I bet he didn't know he had done that.

They've helped me see the magic in the world and naure around me. Still, I need a good vacation to a quiet place with no phones, tv, or even internet!

12. I would only add that there may be something YOU have long

given up on, a dream perhaps that became dead to you and long forgotten, but somehow you have been delving into it or pursuing it again, maybe its something you have recently found fulfillment in, maybe unexpectedly. If so, continue to nurture this path or renewal of something once left behind and you may awaken a part of your personality or life that you understand on some level is important to you and necessary, even though you have pushed it away from your everyday persona.

As for your comments on a road trip, dirt road, highway or boat. This just signifies, to me anyway, an ongoing search. The bay and not the ocean, may mean your search will not take you far, it may be local, closer to home.
